May 28, 2016. Bottle, received in a trade with craftbeer1over, thanks!
Black with a small brown head. Aroma is brandy, soy, paint, brandy, figs, raisins, dark sugars, notes of dark chocolate, Taste is very sweet, soy, slight boozy. Finish is very sweet, figs, prunes, dates, boozy brandy notes, house paint. Full bodied, oily texture, soft carbonation.
Way too sweet, drinkability is low in this one...

Bottle courtesy of hackobock. Pours viscous black with a small mocha head that leaves some sparse spotty trace on the glass while dissiapting. Smell is malty and fairly volatile with roasted malts, burnt caramel, toffee, vanilla fudge, moist wood, dark roast coffee, dark chocolate, raisins, prunes, ketjap manis, paint, moist soil and alcohol. Taste is heavy sweet, tiny bitter, malty and fruity. Mouthfeel is viscous, syrupy, round, bozzy and full bodied. Finish is heavy sweet with dark dried fruits and paint. Crazy paint character especially in the nose. Very off... Extremely sweet and fruity in the taste. Not for me. Not at all...

Bottle shared at the Moeder Lambic cellar tasting 2015. shared by kermis! thanks yet again! 2011 bottle 149/392. poured a dark black colour leaving a nice small tanned ring on top of the beer. the nose is coming as closest to the base beer of all the 4 barrel aged version we’ve had. adding some fruity apple brandy to it. some vineous dark fruits aswell, burned caramel, raisins, and some of that soy sauce feeling you can get from the base beer. some sweet chocolate fudge is followed in the taste, with some sweet sticky chocolate, burned caramel, leather, and a but of charred ash aswell. candy fruit apples, and fainted roasted notes. this was completly different compared to the one with some vanilla beans. mouthfeel is pretty chewy and ful bodied. thanks again kermis for this opportunity
