Bottle: pours a hazy, dark brown with a thin lacing of white head around the rim of the glass, aroma of malt and caramel - kinda sweet smell overall, taste is very malty, slightly sweet with a roasted malt finish. This is a pretty nice beer. Not sure I have much to compare it to but I like it!

Sep 20, 2008 So I was hoping for better since I like irish ales a lot. Didn’t have the hop aroma that I came to love from FFF but it was nice nonetheless. Was a fruity nose, cherries and grapes, sweet. Appearance was a ruby red with an off white head, beautiful. Flavor is fruity, cherry and grape, with a sweet malt background. Palate is incredibly smooth. Wish there was more of a hop profile and more of a bitter finish.

Sep 10, 2008 Bottle, at BA Throwdown #2. Hazy reddish brown pour, thick white head, creamy lacing. Dry wheaty malt, smooth cottony field of hay and hops working together well. Smooth flavors, some hoppy elements, nice dry wheaty finish. Crisp and full of tobacco and biscuit. Dry, yet smooth and flavorful.

Sep 7, 2008 Bottle courtesy of Quake1028. Pours a hazy amber with a small off-white head. Aroma of butter toffee, caramel, sweet malt, and cherries. Taste is the same as aroma with some earthy tones. Medium mouthfeel with a mild amount of bitterness. A wonderfull session brew.

does not count  Sep 2, 2008 From 22oz bottle. Deep reddish brown color. Very nice, very drinkable beer. Best Irish red I’ve had. Very flavorful, with a hint of sweetness, but not enough to be off-putting.

Pours reddish/brown with white head.
Aroma is fruity and sweet.
Taste, sugary, caramel malts , pineapple, light chocolate notes for light bitterness. Light toffee leaving a nice roasted flavor. mixed with hops.
Nice beer, highly drinkable. Beer seemed to be over the 5.9 abv.
