This beer is brewed during the hop harvest with a portion of unkilned or “wet” hops fresh off the vine. Apricot in color, Broo Doo’s nose has dominant orange, pine sap and floral notes, balanced by a glazed nut and toffee malt body. This celebration of the hop harvest has intense tropical fruit, citrus and spicy accents that showcase the complexity of the hops we all love. October release.

Apricot, big white head. Nice fresh and slightly fruity aroma. Flavor is mildly bitter throughout with some citrus notes around the edges. Somewhat sweet, decent finish, nice beer.

Pours a clear amber, not much head. Faint aroma. Warm, solid hops flavor with a little toast. Slightly sweet aftertaste with warm malt.

Got a bottle to go from the brewery. Fun label with the cool troll. Pours a dark orange color that’s very vibrant and deep. A huge chunky white head on top that stays around for a while. A really nice looking beer. A big floral hopped aroma. At first sip a peppery spiced bite on the tongue. A lot of nice hoppy orange flavors. A touch of caramel mixed in its malty base. Very drinkable. I liked it.

Sorry FFF, I let this one sit around too long. My fault, I’ll have to have it again and re-rate.

Bottle. Pours orange/gold with tall white head. Aroma is distinctly floral. Some tropical citrus - pineapple and orange. Flavor is sweet citrus and sweeter malt. I wouldn’t say too sweet, but close. The hop shows up nicely; some pine/resin qualities but they don’t balance out the sweetness as well. Perhaps my bottle was a bit oxidized? Still a good beer.

Aroma is citrus, malts and a hint of sugar/sweetness. The flavor is citrus, fruit/candy, grapefruit, a good hint of hop resin, malts and a long and bitter/dry finish.

Pours golden orange, apricot as described with a light sandy colored head. The aroma brings citrus and herbal hop notes. The flavor is refreshing on a juicy body, bringing a balance of sweet and bitter hops with pine flavors
