3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours golden with a medium white head that settles very slowly. The aroma is powerful. It consists of orange, pineapple, pear, tangerine, and a little bit of caramel and pine. The taste is very heavy in pine, with the rest of the earlier citrus impression serving more as undertones. None of those citrus flavors stand out. Instead, caramel is more noticeable. The aftertaste is pine and is pretty strong. Medium in body, a slick, slightly sticky texture, and above average in carbonation. This is a good IPA and I enjoyed this. That being said, I do think there are better beers that Three Floyds offers.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle to glass. Clear amber color. Classic 3F beer. Strong hoppiness, but balanced by a tart citrus. Not a long after taste. Medium carbonation. Alcohol level is not overpowering in taste, but it is there. Yum!
