COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer is brewed during the hop harvest with a portion of unkilned or “wet” hops fresh off the vine. Apricot in color, Broo Doo’s nose has dominant orange, pine sap and floral notes, balanced by a glazed nut and toffee malt body. This celebration of the hop harvest has intense tropical fruit, citrus and spicy accents that showcase the complexity of the hops we all love. October release.

Bottle - thanks Adam! Pours clear orange amber with a medium off-white creamy head that has a ton of staying power and laces well. Aroma is floral, pine, citrus, caramel. Flavor is about the same, very well integrated, light to medium malt sweetness and light hoppy resinous bitterness. Medium body, resinous mouthfeel. Nice.

Real chill bottle shared by a bro, few weeks back...

Pours a golden color with a good head and nice lacing on the glass.

The aroma is citrus & mango with some guinea pig pellets... but much more in the way of fresh juicy hops.

The flavor is more juicy fruit forward hops, it’s fairly low on bitterness for the style but doesn’t fail to be enjoyably bitter. The beer’s got plenty of citrus and tropical fruit character.

Geeze, I liked it pretty good. Gettin’ these old ratings in feels good man.

Bottle pour deep golden with large white head. Nose lots of fresh hop, tropical fruit, floral, some grass and resin. Taste nice citrus bite up front balanced by mid palate sweet malt. Hop character similar to nose, pleasing bitter finish. Thick mouthfeel.

Solid orange pour of medium clarity, inch or two of offwhite head, great lacing. Juicy and bitter in the nose, citrus and floral hops smell, pineapple, sticky honey/pollen that’s characteristic of 3F’s beers. Pert, lively carbonation, mouthfeel that’s juicy like orange juice, very clean finish leaving the tongue tingly. Very balanced somewhat juicy flavor, lot of juicy citrus hops, orange and tangerines, and some pine hops too, slightly astringent malts, buscuity and rye. This is a heavenly beer, second harvest ale in my eyes behind Founder’s.

From bomber. Pours a cloudy apricot with a finger of head. Aroma proclaims citrus/hops. Taste proclaims the same. Pretty darn good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

22 oz bottle, Andersons. Hazy orange; 1-finger frothy white head. Aroma and taste are both very hop-heavy; heavy pine and orange, some floral. A solid maltiness backs up the bitter, but overall this is unbalanced and too bitter. Founders Harvest Ale is a level above BrooDoo.

Bottle, courtesy of kermis. Pours light hazy, tangerine colored beer with a nice, white head on top. Aroma is of tangerine, light citrus, floral and pine needles with a very juicy feel to it. Flavor is quite bitter and juicy, typical for a wet hopped IPA. Big on the pines and citrus in the flavor, making it a refreshing, quenching beer. Some light, malty caramel backbone is noticeable. Medium short, juicy finish. Nice IPA, very good.
