COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer is brewed during the hop harvest with a portion of unkilned or “wet” hops fresh off the vine. Apricot in color, Broo Doo’s nose has dominant orange, pine sap and floral notes, balanced by a glazed nut and toffee malt body. This celebration of the hop harvest has intense tropical fruit, citrus and spicy accents that showcase the complexity of the hops we all love. October release.

Apricot color with small head and little lacing. Pine aroma with apricot and toffee with some bread. Pine follows through to taste with some citrus. Some sweetness at first that fades to bitterness. Medium mouthfeel and medium bodied with moderate carbonation. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle: Under 2 weeks old. Rich amber body with some darker copper hues in the center; shiny & capped with an off-white, semi-soapy head. Aroma is super wet & super hoppy... Go figure. Floral notes, juicy citrus, mild perfume, & little hints of pine dropping in & out over a very lightly toasted cracker malt body. Malt plays a bigger role on the palate... Kind of like a sweet, toasted cookie. The sweetness is counterbalanced by a plethora of oily, wet hops, lightly candied & bitter grapefruit peel, pine needles, & a modestly floral finish. Zesty on the palate with a mostly dry finish, leaving just a slight mouth coating behind. Quite good.

UPDATED: OCT 20, 2014 Draft at Three Floyds Brewery, Munster. Pours a deep golden orange. Nose has heavy pine, grapefruit, citrus, bread and thick caramel. Taste is super bitter up front. Loads of caramel and grapefruit with pine and citrus hiding in the background. Very balanced. Booze hidden. Fuck me. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bomber poured into a tulip glass. Has a hazy amber pour, with a thin white head. Nice citrus, grapefruit, and floral aroma. There is a nice citrus, grapefruit, orange, and pine followed by a slight bitter hop taste. Overall a very enjoyable brew!

Apricot, big white head. Nice fresh and slightly fruity aroma. Flavor is mildly bitter throughout with some citrus notes around the edges. Somewhat sweet, decent finish, nice beer.

Pours a clear amber, not much head. Faint aroma. Warm, solid hops flavor with a little toast. Slightly sweet aftertaste with warm malt.

Got a bottle to go from the brewery. Fun label with the cool troll. Pours a dark orange color that’s very vibrant and deep. A huge chunky white head on top that stays around for a while. A really nice looking beer. A big floral hopped aroma. At first sip a peppery spiced bite on the tongue. A lot of nice hoppy orange flavors. A touch of caramel mixed in its malty base. Very drinkable. I liked it.

Sorry FFF, I let this one sit around too long. My fault, I’ll have to have it again and re-rate.
