COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer is brewed during the hop harvest with a portion of unkilned or “wet” hops fresh off the vine. Apricot in color, Broo Doo’s nose has dominant orange, pine sap and floral notes, balanced by a glazed nut and toffee malt body. This celebration of the hop harvest has intense tropical fruit, citrus and spicy accents that showcase the complexity of the hops we all love. October release.

Damn near perfect India Pale Ale. Nice subtle notes of nuts, toffee, orange, and pine aroma. Very well balanced with a lot of beautiful hop flavor. Nice carbonation, well hidden alcohol, and super interesting brew. I’d gift this to ANYONE.

11/17/14. Bottle. Pours hazy straw-gold with a fluffy white head, resilient. Aroma is floral, herbal, citrus, grass, pine, perfume, juicy, slightly nutty, candied ginger. Taste is bursting with tropical fruit; juicy, light colored fruits, pine, pineapple, grass, spicy, herbal, citrus (orange, lime?), some sweetness, bread, caramel. Nice lacing throughout. Medium (almost medium-high) carbonation. Medium-full bodied; chewy. Excellent wet-hop harvest ale meets IPA. The whole thing is vaguely reminiscent of Ecto Cooler; so big points there. Nice job,

on tap @ Holler Hops and Grill / Florence KY --- Hazy dark orange amber, 1/2" white head, curtain of lace. Taste is solid malt that is taken over by assertive hops in the palate. The malt never completely gives up, but is relegated to the background in a brew in which all aspects are aggressive. A good solid hoppy brew.

22oz bottle pours a yellow amber color with a bit of head. Piney hop flavors and easy going bitterness.

Pours light hazy amber, big foamy head sticks around. Can really smell the fresh dry hop aroma! Taste is just excellent, balanced with minimal lingering bitterness and good sweetness.Excellent example of this style.

Bottle: Under 2 weeks old. Rich amber body with some darker copper hues in the center; shiny & capped with an off-white, semi-soapy head. Aroma is super wet & super hoppy... Go figure. Floral notes, juicy citrus, mild perfume, & little hints of pine dropping in & out over a very lightly toasted cracker malt body. Malt plays a bigger role on the palate... Kind of like a sweet, toasted cookie. The sweetness is counterbalanced by a plethora of oily, wet hops, lightly candied & bitter grapefruit peel, pine needles, & a modestly floral finish. Zesty on the palate with a mostly dry finish, leaving just a slight mouth coating behind. Quite good.

UPDATED: OCT 20, 2014 Draft at Three Floyds Brewery, Munster. Pours a deep golden orange. Nose has heavy pine, grapefruit, citrus, bread and thick caramel. Taste is super bitter up front. Loads of caramel and grapefruit with pine and citrus hiding in the background. Very balanced. Booze hidden. Fuck me. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Great taste of tropical fruit along with the hops I need. The overall aroma and appearance is good as well
