22 oz bottle, poured into large glass. poured orangish, with a nice lace-like head. a bit of citrus in the nose, but, not overpowering. fairly drinkable, plenty of hop flavor without too much bitterness. letís face it, i bought it because of the princess being impaled by the unicorn under the rainbow behind the troll. i wasnít let down.

Had this bottle for awhile and finally getting to the review. Nice fruit and hoppy taste, definitely floral notes on the palate. Smooth finish with a medium duration aftertaste. Alcohol is well balanced, another good beer worth trying from FFF.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from Rebekah. Thanks! Bomber poured deep clear orange with a finger and a half of just barely off white head, looking fluffy and creamy all at once. Glorious arms of grapefruit and pine, lots of floral notes coming off the top, and maybe a bit of tangerine. Flavor is a hit of bitter pine with light malts in the backdrop. Lingering grapefruit and tangerine. Light bodied and slightly dry, plenty of carbonation, and goes down easily. Three Floyd's did this one up nicely.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Iím getting lots of orange on the nose and plenty of citrus in the taste. Bitterness didnít seem like the advertised 80 IBUs, but Iím not sure how fresh my bottle is. I actually get a decent malt profile also. Overall a very pleasant brew that I really canít find a fault in. Definitely one Iíd drink regularly if it was available year round and in 6 packs (Iím sure Iíd rate this higher if it wasnít quite so pricey). Not flashy, but another rock solid delivery from Three Floyds.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bomber poured into shaker. Beer is clear orange with near-white head that settles to a thin cap and leaves some legs on the glass. Aroma is citrus and floral hop notes with a faint nut and caramel malt thread. Flavor is medium-high citrus and floral spice bitterness with minimal mid-palate sweetness. Medium bodied, oily and creamy, soft carbonation, with a bitter finish. Didnít have that fresh punch that Founderís harvest did, but really good overall.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
No bottling information.
Appearance: The body is crystal clear with an orange-amber hue. The head is short with average retention, settling into a sparse white coating with a foamy white ring.
Aroma: The aroma is strong on the pour, pushing its way to my nose which is a foot away. The aroma is bursting with citrus, I get orange juice and pink grapefruit along with some pine tar and a mild floral presence.
Taste: This is surprisingly balanced from everything that Iíve read about Three Floyds. The body is sort of nutty with a mild sweetness with a spicy hop presence strong during the mid-taste and a orange soda like flavor on the finish with a pine bitterness presence. There is a bit of caramel by the finish which balanced the pine out a bit. The finish lingers a moment of pineapple and a sort of dankness, god I hate that word but it makes so much sense sometimes.
Palate: Full-bodied, sort of soft texture. Very nice.
Overall: This is a juicy IPA that I very much enjoy. I really like everything about this beer, but something isnít clicking. This is a worthwhile buy though and I would buy it once a year if I lived in distro.

Bottle shared at Atlanta Beer Fantasy Football meetup. This one was just fresh and juicy and really got my attention. Nice citrus, tropical fruits with a known but caramal backbone that does take a backseat. Great nose of sweet citrus and tropical fruits, apricots. Love it. Nice slick mouth. Yessir.

Bomber pour. This IPA is very fresh with great resin qualities and a superb hop/malt balance. The finish is extra clean and crisp. Just an outstanding fresh IPA.
