cherr (162), Rochester, New York, USA Jul 4, 2008 Totally awesome beer. I got in a bottle from Kahn’s fine wines in INdianapolis, IN. Smell is of amarillo hops. The pour is nice and thick. The taste is angled towards the hops with some nice crisp malt. One of their best. To me, this is easier to drink than alpha king as it doesn’t have the hop harshness from the chinook. bgburdman9 (702), Columbus, Ohio, USA Jun 28, 2008 An old rating i finally got to entering. Aroma wash of straight hops. Seemed like every kind possible. Citrus, pine, earthiness, spice. Flavor was pretty hoppy and very very bitter. I wish this was year round and i cant believe its only 5.5 %. The aggressive hops could easily make like place this at 8 or 9%. Tilley4 (218), Huron, Tennessee, USA Dec 23, 2007 Everything I could ask for in an IPA. Very hoppy yet balanced. Very crisp aroma of fresh hops, extremely pleasant. I couldn’t get my nose out of the glass.
I had been waiting to have this one and it didn’t disappoint. Simply amazing.
Wonderful fresh hop taste, a bit sweet with a nice bitterness to the finish.
This is one of the top IPAs out there. I wish I could get this in Tn. It was worth the drive to Indiana to pick this up. Simply wonderful. Dough77 (714), Aurora, Illinois, USA Dec 2, 2007 who-we. I know theres a better way to spell that, but you get the picture. Nose of huge and delicous hop. Fantastic citrus with a nice but slight malt backbone. One of my favorite beers of the year for sure. Wish I had more. Might have to go get more. railcat1 (478), Hammond, Indiana, USA May 15, 2006 this was a good hop up beer that made me think of the DREADNAUGHT.this beer is very good and in 3fff style of excellance.CHEERS to the guys you did it again with another stlye good beer
