Pours clear straw gold with little head that quickly fades away, ok retention. Aroma is lightly grassy, spicy, and cleanly bready. Taste is clean pilsener-like malt, grass, hint of nuts, touch of spicy hops. Body is light-medium, frothy, above average carbonation, dryish spicy finish. Overall, a great lighter bodied beer from 3F. Full flavored and crisp.

8 ounce pour atbthe brewery. Thisvis almost clear and golden with a small white head. The nose is subtle geain, fruit, and malt. The flavor is pretty much the same. I also raste oranges whichnis nice and unexpected.

draft at the brewpub. pours hazed straw yellow with foamy white head. a wonderful fruity estery yeast aroma. the nose seems right on for a kolsch style. the flavor follows the same line but tends to come off a little too tart for my style, nice lemony and fruity character though. good kolsch though.

On tap at three floyds... Pours a transparent apple cider pour with no head whatsoever... Soft grain, biscuits and grass hops for the aroma... Flavors are more grassy with a lively feel to it while quickly moving to a sweeter grain note. Crisp and semi-lively mouthfeel. ok but nothing out of the ordinary.

UPDATED: SEP 3, 2011 On tap; pour is murky light golden with a very modest white head in this glass. The nose has a hint of grain, citrus; the flavor profile is spent grains, a hint of citrus, light hoppy notes, a touch of the malt side with baked breads present. Its an easy drinker, and a light kolsch, but the head is a little disappointing.

Served on draft at the brewpub. Pours a hazy golden color with a thin creamy white head. Average head retention and lacing. Aroma of sweet grainy malts and grassy hops. The taste is grassy hops, toasted malts. Lingering bitterness. Thin-medium bodied.

UPDATED: JUL 20, 2009 On tap at FFF, I enjoyed this beer. It wasn’t to over bearing like I expect, it was a nice blend and very easy to drink. Had a slight taste of coffee, but not to much. Overall something I would drink again.
