Bottle shared by AzBennett at Viking Metal 1.0. Pours a deep golden color with a white head. Aroma is crackers and some nice fruitiness. Staste is semi-sweet. Medium bodied with some light bitterness. Pretty good stuff.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Tasting courtesy of dschiller. Pours a yellow or light gold with a white head that is gone in an eye-blink. Aroma is nearly nonexistent with some minor grass hops and malty sweetness. Flavor is refreshing with the same grassy hop bitterness and a big dose of sweet malts. Palate is not as carbonated as I would have hoped and makes this feel heavier than it is. Overall, this is an above average beer for the style and one perfect for a hot day.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pour is a light gold, tending toward yellow with a fizzy white head that quickly dissipates. Aroma is light and mildly sweet and I wish the nose came across stronger. Flavor is quite nice. Well balanced between a light bitter hops character and some sweeter malt. Body is nice as well. This beer is flavorful without being heavy and light without being watery. A good refresher.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bomber compliments of AndyReynolds - pours cloudy straw with white head. Nose is yeast/hay - not what I would expect from a kölsch. Flavor adds herbal hops and citrus fruit. A nice surprise from a style I tend to overlook. Mildly sweet with a little bitterness. Refreshing and tasty.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 10/20
aroma is sweet with some fruity notes. A skunky hop presence is there giving it what one would expect from a Kölsch. The fruitiness throws it off though. Odd, but refreshing.

3.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
My first ever Kolsch style! Pours a gorgeous, light, slightly hazy, yellow golden color with a pure white, foamy head. The head has decent retention. An 1/8 inch white cap sits on top of the beer and is perpetuated by carbonation bubbles rising from the bottom. Tart Czech Pilsener nose. A bit of green grape and some unripe banana peel. A pretty surprising mouthfeel given the appearance and the bouquet. One would expect something lighter and crisper. The mouthfeel is full and a bit thick, nearing chewy. Smooth on the finish. Really nice balance in the flavor. Sweetness and tartness work together nicely. Nothing obtrusive. It’s a really good beer overall. However, it shouldn’t be $7.99 a bomber.
