Pours a very pale straw color with a small but inviting white head. The aroma is of sweet, bready malts and hay with some floral characteristics. The taste is very clean and refreshing with moderate sweetness and light bitterness. Not bad for what it is.

This is not what I expected as I didn’t even read the label when I bought it... Haha. I am pleasantly surprised! It is a great easy to drink beer. It has a solid malt profile, robust and slightly fruity. It’s a medium palate which is appreciated. It’s definitely no possible beer as others have stated.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
I have been drinking Calumet Queen since day one. Unlike the other original Floyd’s beers this one has gotten better over the years.
Golden haze in a glass, not a hop bomb like their other beers.
I rate this one right up there with beers from Cologne!
A must try for a simple light drinkable beer.

pours watery gold with no head or lacing. very crisp and light. similar to coors light or something. Not very complex, it is what it is and refreshing on a summer day is when i would expect this one to shine.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
22 ounce bottle into pint glass; no bottle dating, but purchased recently. Pours lightly hazy golden straw color with a foamy 1-2 finger bright white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty foamy lacing clings to the glass. Aromas of lemon, pear, apple, cracker, bread, honey, grass, floral, herbal, and earthy spiciness. Nice, pleasant, and well balanced aromas with decent strength; on par for the style. Taste of pear, apple, lemon, cracker, bready grain, grass, floral, herbal, and earthy spiciness. Light yeast tartness on the finish; with lingering notes of light fruits, cracker, bready grain, grass, floral, herbal, and earthy spiciness on the finish for a short bit. Very nice balance of flavors; with a typical flavor complexity for the style; and zero cloying flavors on the finish as expected. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth and lightly crisp mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with hardly any warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is a very nice Kolsch style! Nice balance of flavors with solid complexity; and extremely smooth and crisp to drink. Very enjoyable offering, and on par with the style as expected.

Poured from a 22 oz. bottle into a Three Floyds branded imperial pint glass.
Pours a glimmering gold with a two finger bright white head. Light pale malt, grass and flora, accents of apple and pear on the nose. Opens with grassy hops joined by apple peel with a touch of bitterness, a touch of honey, toasted grain, and some light citric notes. Finishes fairly dry and crisp. Light body with bubbly carbonation that tickles the inside of the mouth. Overall, a very solid kolsch.
