3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap: The aroma consists of moderate citrus, pineapple, and grapefruit. It’s a transparent amber with a touch of haze. It has a small white head that fades to a thin film outlined by a slightly thicker ring. There is some sporadic webbing left on the sides of the glass. The flavor starts with moderate citrus and a touch of pineapple. The finish has moderate grapefruit and a touch of herbal hops. It’s medium bodied with light-moderate carbonation.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
22oz bomber from trade with Omar. Poured a cloudy burnt orange color with a small foamy white head. Aroma of mainly old citrus and caramel malt. Taste of caramel malt, old citrus, lemon zest, toasted grains, and grass. I expect more from FFF IPA’s. Wasn’t impressed with this one!

4.4 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottle from Big Red Liquor, Indianapolis. Pours an opaque orange body with golden hues under a half-inch of off-white head that reduces to froth fairly quickly. Gorgeously enticing aroma of floral hops and citrus fruits, especially tangerine. A lot more citrus fruit in the flavor along with honey, a solid malty backbone, and finished with hops bitterness. Even more citrus lingers in the aftertaste. Flavor is clean as all hell. Medium carbonation and medium/full body. Damn good brew.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle with thanks to Matt. Pours a hazy light orange with a thin head and aromas of papaya and pineapple. Flavor has a similar edge to it. Lots and lots of papayas with a bit of a resinous mango presence. Yay!

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle shared with Dave and Travis. Not as memorable as other Three Floyds DIPAs, medium bitterness, not overly agressive in the nose.

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
22oz from the brewery. Big foamy white head. Aroma is out of this world. Tropical fruit definitely on the nose. Must be those new Zealand hops. Appearance is perfect actually. Precisely what you’d want in the dictionary for imperial ipa. Taste is exceptional. Hop with no heat or aftertaste. No sweetness. As good as it gets for an imperial ipa.
