In the seemingly endless cruelty, battle, and strife of the Hyborian age, a warrior has but two pleasures: Decimating one’s enemies in battle, and a horn of Cimmerian Sabertooth Berzerker to slake the thirst of victory.

Pours orange golden with an amber head. Aroma is delicious orange citrus hops. Flavor is hoppy orange with resiny thick hops. It lays big on the palate hops, but not biting; maybe a bit perfumey orange and lingers for sure.

On tap at fff. I get toasted malt, lots of hops and fruity malt, and a tribute to cinammon. Cloudy peachy and light lace. Smooth mouthfeel.

Pours a thick looking darker gold without much of a head. Nose involves big dank hops, lots of evergreen and weed, some fruit in there. Pretty sweet, quite bitter. Thicker and heavy, quite oily, kind of active, finishing long with hop oil. Another bombastic one, though not insanely bitter, more focused on aroma. Huge body would make it rough to have a lot of.

22oz bottle, poured into a snifter. The aroma is a pungent, ripe guava and pineapple blend with some sour grapefruit, oranges, toffee, and a melon-like undertone. The beer is murky and amber brown in hue with a big, foamy, soapy, off-white head that has good retention and a light lace. The beer is highly bitter and sweet with maybe a bit more bitter; although the sweetness sharpens as warms. It’s thick, syrupy, and sticky with lots of fluffy carbonation and a full body that’s bittersweet and juicy - primarily flavored by grapefruit and assorted tropical fruit notes. There’s also a waxiness, most noted at the finish that starts with a light, sweet zip then turns to herbs, burnt crust, and cooked toffee. The aftertaste is cloying and bitter with notes of burnt toast and roasted nuts.

22 oz bomber courtesy of ericjones over at craftbeerkc.com. 06/10/2015 printed on bottle. The pour is a hazed orange yellow with a ½ inch light tan head that falls slow. Splotchy lace left behind. The aroma is resin, onion garlic, some body odor, then opens up to tropical mango and pineapple fruit. The taste is the resin dank right away, followed close by with some of the sweaty garlic, then moves into earth and the tropical citrus fruit. As it warms the pine and grass are prevalent. Flavors are a bit arresting at first, on the edge of overwhelming , then the beer it settles into the dank, tropical fruit and sweaty earth and melds much better. Eventually, quite interesting. The palate is medium to heavier bodied, low carbonation and the dry pine resin ever so slightly boozy finish. Creative beer. Cheers Eric!

Look - Orange juice body. Not see through when cold. Thick off white head with aggressive pour. Lacing. Smell - Dank Kiwi. Orange. Passion. Dragon. Grapefruit. Taste - Dank and bitter up front. Fades to earthy citrus. Finishes off the tongue with orange and other citrus. Palate - Not a carbonation bomb. Medium feel. Overall - I was right, still my favorite Floyds. This was one of the first ones I tried and glad I got it again. Earthy dankness balanced well with citrus.

22. Thanks, J! Pours a murky dark orange with amber highlights at the edges. Big forward nose, lots of different notes--pine, grapefruit, some grassy bits. Creamy body on the high side of medium with woolly carb. Heavy sweet malty caramel mid palate with pine and grapefruit over the top. Long resiny finish.

UPDATED: JUL 5, 2015 Pour from bomber into teku. Amber-bronze pour, light haze, moderate head retention. Enormous, rich and full Citra aroma laced lightly with pine. High-note flavor, juicy ripe citrus and mandarin resin, bitter on roof of the mouth, flowery bite dances along the tongue. Tinge of woody pine lingers among the malty low-end. Light carbonation, devastatingly smooth. Another 3F heavy-hitter.
