In the seemingly endless cruelty, battle, and strife of the Hyborian age, a warrior has but two pleasures: Decimating oneís enemies in battle, and a horn of Cimmerian Sabertooth Berzerker to slake the thirst of victory.

22 ounce bottle, bottled on 10/13/2014. Served in a DFH snifter, the beer pours a hazy orange/amber color with about an inch off-white head. Head retention and lacing are both decent enough. Aroma is nice, the brew smells mostly like citrusy (orange, mango, tropical fruit) hops, along with some pine hops and bready malt. For the most part I think the taste is just like the aroma, but thereís also a good amount of bitterness and some floral hops noticeable too. Mouthfeel/body is medium, itís a bit slick with a moderate amount of carbonation. I thought this was a good brew, wouldnít mind trying this one again in the future!

On tap at Three Floyd's brewpub. Pours a cloudy orange with off white head. Nose shows dank hops, orange peel, tropical fruit and pine. Wow what a hop bomb! Taste is bitter orange peel, pine, grassy notes and a very bitter finish. Holy crap what a beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Look: Pours a light orange color. White head with a slight haze. Smell: Caramel. Nice sweetness. Citrus fruits. Lemon Oranges and grapefruit. Pine Taste: Grapefruit. Nice bitterness. Pine. Onion. Feel: Very dry. Medium carbonation. Overall: Good beer. Taste is a little lacking when compared to the smell. Love the smell wish the aroma was more like it. Needs a little more sweetness. Bomber from La Primera -- in honor of Janís birthday, as they visit the source tonight. Pours a hazy orange with a white head leaving streaky lacing. Aroma has heavy thick pine, citrus, some garlic, Later some caramelly malts show through. Heavy and overlayered. Taste brings sweet fruit, grapefruit, orange juice, sprucy pine, heavy resin, some caramel and certainly spices. Medium to full bodied with some alcohol presence. Finishes long and bitter, with garlic, but some definite sweet fruit/malt hanging in too. This is more complex than expected, and not too smooth - almost homebrewed in its body - but with solid flavors and ultimately enjoyable. 14.8

22 oz. bottle pours a hazy golden amber with moderate soapy white head but little lacing. Aroma is full of citrus and tropical fruits with some floral aroma. Taste is bitter at first, with caramel sweetness in the middle, then a bitter finish which was ruined for me by too much dankness. Body is medium to full, without much carbonation, and with a slightly oily mouthfeel. Alcohol is not obvious. I wanted to like this because itís Three Floyds, but frankly, itís overpriced, and no where near as enjoyable as some of their other DIPAs or even a $5 bomber of Lagunitas Hop Stoopid (my go-to DIPA when I canít afford or find Dreadnought).

I feel like this only has a high rating because its three floyds. I love ipas and apas. I think I have had every other three floyds beer and I liked all of them. This one is bad. Sorry. Its not enjoyable for me at all. Way too grassy tasting without being complex or enjoyable. I feel like I just chewed on a haybale. Not good.

65cl, no mention of ABV, new exclusive American brew Anno 2012, thx alot to Secret Santa!, complex bitter brew, heavily bitter/fruity and slightly woody/spicy/sweet, balanced, cloudy, good head, very good brew, yet expensive!

Draft - Rich pine and grapefruit with caramel. Clear copper with a rich beige head. Tons of sweet pine with a balanced caramel sweetness. Big and bold.

22oz bomber pours a hazy orange with an off white head. Pineapple grapefruit and orange taste. Another great double ipa from these guys.
