COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
In the seemingly endless cruelty, battle, and strife of the Hyborian age, a warrior has but two pleasures: Decimating one’s enemies in battle, and a horn of Cimmerian Sabertooth Berzerker to slake the thirst of victory.

Bomber. Pours a hazy orangey color, medium white head with meh retention and lacing. Nose is malt and oranges, mouth is medium sticky and tastes like the nose betrays... this tastes like something they forgot about and decided to bottle well past its prime. Sorry, nice artwork and Conan the Barbarian allusions, but as a serious beer drinker/alcoholic I haven’t got the time nor the predilection for sucking some 3F’s cock. This is a weak example both of craftsmanship and the style -- especially considering who made it -- and shouldn’t be denied its just due.

Sample at the brewpub. Pours a clear dark amber-orange color with a medium thick foamy off-white head that recedes gradually to an outer ring. Top ring of lacing with spots underneath. Floral hops, fruit and malt in the nose. Medium to full body with flavors of herbal hops, citrus and bready malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a fruity hops aftertaste. Pretty good all around.

8oz on tap at the brewpub. Hazy orange amber color. Thin off-white head. Dots and ropes of lace, kind of loose. Bigger body. Kind of slick. Smooth, lighter carbonation. Big piney resiny hop. Citrus. A bit of hoppy heat on the end. Some mango. Mild caramel malt. Light spiciness. Resin and pine, mostly. Very big bitter taste. Light sweet, light hoppy alcohol heat on the ned. A pretty impressive assertive DIPA.

Bottle dated 7/25/14. I can’t put my finger on it but something is off on the smell kinda like a staleness. Taste is better though. Almost a little too bitter for a dipa.

Quite a bitter bite, white grape, touch of grappa, then berries and apricot, boozy finish. Hmm not as balanced as classic Three Floyd’s, a bit too aggressive and boozy maybe.

Draft to taster. Looks good; a cloudy vibrant golden orange with eggshell head that steadily dissipats into lacing. Smells solid; sweet and little hot, but with a bit citrus any piney hop profile as well. Tastes like it smells with solid pineapple too. Average on the palate with a fuller-bodied mouthfeel for the style. Overload everything, and enjoyably so.

Tap. Big, rich and fruity. Lots of boysenberry, citrus and pine. Good balance. The nose is a little subdued, but otherwise top notch.

Poured the orange you live for. A medium white diminishing head. Very sweet malt, mild citrus and straw aroma. Sweet malt, grapefruit zest, chewy taste. Tropical fruit finish that leaves a grapefruit kiss on the lips. A total pleasure to the taste buds. Bottled yesterday and enjoyed today bottle. The only thing that brings it down is the aroma doesn’t I’ve up to the taste. Cheers!
