In the seemingly endless cruelty, battle, and strife of the Hyborian age, a warrior has but two pleasures: Decimating one’s enemies in battle, and a horn of Cimmerian Sabertooth Berzerker to slake the thirst of victory.

On draft at Three Floyds after the Bourbon County debacle in Chicago. The pour is a foggy bright orangey gold with a thin cap of white head and solid, spectacular lace. The aroma is full of dank tropical fruits. It's great at first. A piney bitterness moves in and then a malty sweetness kind of brings up the rear. The flavor is heavy malts up front that slowly fade through a fruitiness and into a piney resin. It's really interesting but way too malty for me. The mouth feel is decent. There is a nice carbonation, relatively thick and velvety with a lingeringly bitter piney fruit finish. Not too shabby. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at Three Floyd’s with koleminer20. Aroma is floral hops, pine, tropical fruit, malty. Appearance is dark golden, off white head. Taste is malt forward, sticky, tropical fruit falling into pine and floral notes. Mouthfeel is thick, medium carbonation, sticky. Overall, it’s pretty good but they could have done better.

On tap: The aroma consists of moderate citrus, pineapple, and grapefruit. It’s a transparent amber with a touch of haze. It has a small white head that fades to a thin film outlined by a slightly thicker ring. There is some sporadic webbing left on the sides of the glass. The flavor starts with moderate citrus and a touch of pineapple. The finish has moderate grapefruit and a touch of herbal hops. It’s medium bodied with light-moderate carbonation.

22oz bomber from trade with Omar. Poured a cloudy burnt orange color with a small foamy white head. Aroma of mainly old citrus and caramel malt. Taste of caramel malt, old citrus, lemon zest, toasted grains, and grass. I expect more from FFF IPA’s. Wasn’t impressed with this one!

Bottle from Big Red Liquor, Indianapolis. Pours an opaque orange body with golden hues under a half-inch of off-white head that reduces to froth fairly quickly. Gorgeously enticing aroma of floral hops and citrus fruits, especially tangerine. A lot more citrus fruit in the flavor along with honey, a solid malty backbone, and finished with hops bitterness. Even more citrus lingers in the aftertaste. Flavor is clean as all hell. Medium carbonation and medium/full body. Damn good brew.

66 cl bottle @ home. Pours cloudy amber with some sediment and a white head that leaves quite a bit of lacing. Aroma and flavour are grapefruit, pine, and herbs - with a bitter finish.

Bottle with thanks to Matt. Pours a hazy light orange with a thin head and aromas of papaya and pineapple. Flavor has a similar edge to it. Lots and lots of papayas with a bit of a resinous mango presence. Yay!

Bottle shared with Dave and Travis. Not as memorable as other Three Floyds DIPAs, medium bitterness, not overly agressive in the nose.
