4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bomber courtesy of joshmcg000. Thanks! Cloudy amber to peach gold pour with a 1-2 finger, creamy off white head that has good retention and leaves some decent lacing. Aroma is biscuit, caramel, sweet malt, soft pine shoots, sweet, mellow citrus and cooked tropical fruit. Flavor is big on sweet citrus, mellow, fresh pine shoots, Amarillo like grapefruit and spiciness, lots of sweet, deeper, mellow tropical fruit - passion fruit, caramelized pineapple, a little guava, some green raisin, oh yeah and some malts stuff, too, caramel, biscuit and some general malt sweetness. Medium to heavy body, creamy to chewy entry, medium, somewhat sharp carbonation, chewy to juicy middle, medium alcohol warmth, slight burn, and a still chewy, slightly oily, off dry finish with a lingering tingle on the back of the palate and tongue that is hard to identify as latent carbonation or light alcohol burn. Really tasty stuff overall, maybe a little sweeter than I am in the mood for right now, but I could see that not being a problem a good portion of the time.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Draught at Mikkeller Bar, Stockholm.
Dark amber, hazy body, with a big, very creamy, white head, that laces a lot.
Aroma of pine needles, grapefruit, peach, berries, tropical fruits, biscuit.
Tastes of pine, grapefruit, resin, some tropical fruits, some alcohol booze, with a very smooth, full malt backbone of honey and biscuit.
Medium, creamy mouthfeel, with a lively carbonation.
Finishes quite harsh, bitter, dry, zesty, piney, a bit alcoholic and with subtle sweet malts.
Tasty strong stuff! Reminds me a bit of their Dreadnaught, except that it is heavier in every aspect: a rawer hop bite, a broader malt backbone and a more noticeable alcohol. Couldn’t drink much of this, but enjoyed it a lot!

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
This was a nice and full IPA. Strong flavors throughout. The nose was hoppy, a little sweet. The body was medium-heavy with hops and sugar. The finish was smooth, silky, and sweet with some residual hops.

Draught. Danky hops, lots of citrus too, pale malt follows. Murky orange pour, small white head. Big danky and citrus hop flavor as well. Nice supporting malt character. Moderate bitterness, more citrus in the finish.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at Mikkeller Bar Stockholm.
Hazy orange with a small white head. Quite soft aroma of citrus, some pineapple, caramel and light malt. Similar taste. Some alcohol in the finish. Not that bitter. A descent one but I wonder how old the beer was?

4.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
This has been a want since I read the name about 18 months ago, roughly -- 22oz bottle poured into a fancy tulip. Caramel, light brown pour, clear color with pillowy white head that quickly dissipates. Aroma is green and earthy, resinous. Flavor is a very nice candy sweetness that a great hop backbone, very much opposite from most IPAs I drink. There is a distinct lingering hoppiness, pleasant and lasting. I like it.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
A friend picked up a bomber at the brewpub. This one pours a cloudy orangish color. There was a thin off white head that left no lacing. Pine, orange and pineapple notes to the nose. Maybe a bit peppery. The taste is very good. Somewhat bitter, with a fuller body. Pineapple notes, orange, lots of malts, with no sweetness. Very Nice!
