Bottle. Pours a very dark brown-- near black, with a beige head. Aroma of acetone, dark fruit, roast, some fruit and lactic notes. Cognac, some roasted malts, touches of wood and vanilla. Flavor is sweet, boozy, lots of fruity and cognac notes. Raisins, plums, touches of roasted malt and chocolate. Thin mouthfeel, slick on the palate. Interesting, but probably the weakest barrel-aged variants of this beer.

Deep amber, ruby edges. Huge boozy nail polish nose. Big cognac upfront, mild booze burn that leads to a cherry halls cough drop finish. Garbage.

Bottle; Pour is murky brown with a one finger khaki head in this glass; it retains on the average side, with some spotting present. This brew has a fantastic nose ; cognac heavy initial, some earth, ash, tobacco, vanilla, chocolate, and dark fruits here. The flavor profile; the only downside is that its probably too sweet. Cognac, caramel and chocolate morsels, booze, some bittering hops, sweet bread, and some dark fruit present. Very pleasing experience

BMan1113VR (7854) - Los Angeles, California, USA - APR 30, 2013
Bottle 338/564. Pours with a black hued body and a lasting tan head. Aromas are huge: boozy, fruity and vinous. Lots of alcohol, lots of brandy/congac. Chewy, dates and chocolate. Flavors are fusel but somewhat easy to overlook with chewy chocolate and vinous dark fruits. Dates, raisins, alcohol and barrel. Big and thick body, medium low carbonation. Very warming.
