Thanks GT! Black pour with a beige veneer. Big vinous dark fruit and caramel lead to pure raisin and fig. Extremely sweet. Im not sure a vinous barrel compliments an already massively vinous beer as well as bourbon. Medium to full body with low carbonation and a smacking sweet finish.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
750mL yellow wax #43/392. Thanks to a generous trader on BA. Pours a deeper, clear cola. Diminishing, beige head. Decent retention. Nose is messy- soil and grape soda with heavy sugar. Taste is very rich. quite sweet, with tanginess in the back end with some soil/earth. Very long, stickier, sweet palate with some dirty earth and grape drank. Doesn’t have any of the nice characters from the De Muerte. And no nice bourbon nose like the De Muerte and PVW. Very sweet. Long, dirty finish.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Black in color with nice viscosity. Minimal head formation and carbonation. Intense aroma of brandy and graham cracker sweetness. Lots of brown sugar, molasses, and chocolate, too. Maybe some marshmallow on the palate along with the graham cracker. A bit of a S’more thing going on. Quite a bit of brandy and booze as well as a bit of vanilla. Intensely sweet, but I like it.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
opaque black, thin bubbly brown head. The nose has a mix of sweet brandy, salted meat, chocolate, and a touch of Bo. The taste is overly sweet of brandy, loads of milk chocolate and vanilla, notes of heat with an off sweaty flavor in back. Full bodied, heavy and oily. The flavor is so sweet and struggles next to the rare.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Appearance: Pours dark brown with susdy brown ring of bubbles.
Aroma: Brandy, caramel, smoke, chocolate.
Taste: Coffee, chocolate, sugar, brandy, wood, black pepper. A boozy/coffee finish.
Mouthfeel: Thick but less thick than original Dark Lord, with and with less carbonation.
Overall: I like this, but I like the Brandy + Vanilla Bean variant better.
