Rather sweet impression and dense caramelish. Mild brandy touch and smooth vanilla into the finish. Lingering and sweet lasting finish.
4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20 Papsoe (25131) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUN 3, 2011
On tap. Pours black and opaque with a small brownish head. Distinct vanilla aroma, a little wood. At first very sticky bordering cloying but if patient things blend nicely together. Quite rich-bodied, carbonation being a little low, what appears sticky in the nose now turns into the most delicious Belgian pralines and truffles with some warming alcohol in the finish - never boozy though. A small "bite" of heaven. Wauw, just wauw. 250511
