ChrisO’s Pre GBBF ’Are You Scottish?’ tasting. Light haze on this gold - amber beer. Little white head. Dry palate. Light malt. The sourness is a little lemon acid for me. Light minerally dry finish.

At Chriso pre GBBF Shindig 2013. Sour beer. It’s a berliner weisse style. Lots of sour lemon. Not great though.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Thanks, Adam. Golden yellow pour with a white head. Weird peach and sugary sweetness. Lemon zest tartness, some lemon drop candy, a bit of yeast, and some bread. The flavor is quite sweet, too. Lots of candied fruit such as peach and lemon. A bit of lemon zest, tart lactic acid, and some straw. Mild bread/malt flavor and a hint of yeast.

Big sour flavor, bracingly acetic, fairly sweet, with light notes of corn. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Tangy and sweaty on the finish with corn bread sweetness. Meh.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Draft...DLD06... Clear, light yellow ale with a mid-sized, white head. No aroma; no flavor. I came up with absolutely nothing. Well-balanced (like seltzer) and light bodied. Thin, watery mouthfeel with fizzy carbonation. Short, crisp, clean finish. I was expecting some degree of sourness, but it was nowhere to be found. Refreshing, but not really brewed to style.
