Dry medicinal straw taste with sweetish honey and resin notes. Fantastic richness in the taste. Excellent! (0.66l bottle at RBNAG’07. Quite late, so want to rerate this.) fonefan (11122), VestJylland, Denmark

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Nov 10, 2007 Bottle, not very fresh from what I can tell. Citrusy hop aroma. Definitely get some mango. Not much of a head. Seemingly harsh flavor with little hop character. Wish I could get a fresh brew. Sigmund (2278), Hafrsfjord, Norway

| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Nov 9, 2007 Aroma of sweet pineapple, malt, light cheese. Amber orange color with off white head. Very well balanced initial flavors. Hoppy bitterness is evened out with a honey sweetness. Light saltiness. Alcohol in not present at all. Very creamy palate. Nice balance. Very good overall. | 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Nov 8, 2007 My third bottle of Dreadnaught, but the first with reliable provenance regarding freshness. Pours a nice clear copper-orange color wtih a sparse thin white head. The aroma was heavy, resinous, spicy, fruity, rich, and lightly alcoholic. Very piney. While the aroma was piney, the taste was more grapefruity and much hoppier than the aroma indicated. The jarring hop blast occurs throughout the bottle, not just on the initial taste. The finish lingers and tingles on the palate for a while. The thick syrupy palate and low carbonation allow for proper chewing of this trademark brew. Mette (224), Frederiksberg, Denmark
Lidt flad.
