COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A hophead’s dream beer. This Imperial India Pale Ale has an opening salvo of mango, peach and citrus hop aromas that sit atop a pronounced caramel malt backbone. Although Dreadnaught is a strong and intensely hoppy ale, its complex flavors is both smooth and memorable. 9.5% ABV, 100 IBUs.

Pale deep golden. Dry hoppy and fruity soft aroma. Very good soft mouthfeel. The flavour is rather sweet with a good ripe fruitiness, soft bitter hoppiness and citrus. Comfortable smooth Imp. IPA. Thanks a lot for the share of this treat yespr!

Golden amber color, not much head. Very strong aroma of blackcurrant leaves. Medium to full bodied. Aggressive sweet honeyish hoppyness, some blackcurrant also in the flavor. Unbalanced, not my cup of tea.

20th October 2008. Hazy orange beer. Super smooth silky IPA. Almost creamy palate. Bags of hop flavour but not really that bitter. Juicy grapefruit, orange and peach with a just a hint of tea. The finish is very slightly bitter and a little bit spicy - just enough to make you crave the next fruity mouthfull. Highly superior IPA.

Bottle. [thank you, Yespr]
Pours a great-looking hazy yellow-orange golden. A small creamy film head on top. Aroma is bitter, hoppy and lightly fruity. Super nice mouthfeel. Flavour is complex bitter, lots of oranges, pineapple, grass (is there English hops in this?). Not as bitter as the Green Flash, but a wonderful balance. I slightly prefer the Green Flash, but this is still wonderful.

Amber with a small off-white head. Aroma of caramel and toffee with lots of grapefruit hops, and a hint of alcohol. Sweet caramel flavour with intense and complex hops, with citrus and pine dominating

Thanks a lot Daniel/TheCheeseMan for this very nice beer. It’s dark orange-golden with a red hue and a small head. The aroma is wonderfully hoppy with notes of oranges, pine needles, apricot, papaya and mango. The flavour has a smooth bitterness and is very complex and fruity. I find notes of papaya, mango, oranges, caramel and a light sweetness - it’s not easy to describe the balance, it seems so perfect. The finish has a slightly dry grapefruit note.

Bomber from bulldogp04. Thanks for this great beer Dean. Pours a slightly hazy copper color with a small white head. Strong citric aromas. Really thick body with mild, near creamy, carbonation. Flavor is really floral/citrus over roasted caramel. It’s very hoppy, but the caramel is detectable. Goes down very smooth. Leaves a bitter burn behind. Incredibly good beer. Good reason to live in Munster.
