douglas88 (610), Salt Lake City, Utah, USA Jul 16, 2008 Bomber thanks to EithCubes. Pours a cloudy orange color with a medium white head. The aroma is tons of grapefruit, some rich malts, and honey. The flavor of this is like a freshly cut grapefruit covered in honey with a side of fresh fruit. Some woody aspects too. A thick and creamy mouthfeel. There is a ton of flavor here, sweet and bitter, but very smooth, not notice of alcohol expect a nice warmth in the finish. Just amazing. Swolf3 (7), Elkton, Maryland, USA does not count Jul 14, 2008 Thanks to boss man Gabe, I got to enjoy this delicious double IPA. Taste is very hoppy with a citrus aroma. Pours a nice orange or amber color. enjoyed very much! TikiE (304), Sylva, North Carolina, USA Jul 13, 2008 Bottled: Carried this guy all the way back to North Carolina! Delcious beer! Pours a hazy orange color with white lacing. Smells of fruit, mostly mango. Taste of hops and citrus. One of my favorite double IPAs! Collint (292), Sylva, North Carolina, USA Jul 13, 2008 Bottle, thanks TikiE for driving the long distance for this very special beer. Pours an orange beer with a thin white head. Aroma is grapefruit hoppy insanity. Flavor is sweet and extremely hoppy with grapefruit notes. Full body with a bite in the end, bitter finish. Great beer! stateofbeing (1), Indianapolis, Indiana, USA does not count Jul 12, 2008 No pretentious description here, just two words for hop lovers: religious experience!
Nevertheless, this amazing beer is in short supply even in its home state of Indiana and (apparently) therefore, way overpriced at typically $14 for a single 20oz. bottle. Give me a __ break!!!
