Bomber compliments of AndyReynolds - pours honey orange with offwhite head leaning on white. Banana wheat with pepper. Love the style and this is a good representation.

Bottle @ home, really big thanks to TheAlum for tracking down this Hefe-Whale for me! Pours a fairly hazy, a touch reddish, dark orange appearance with a lasting cream colored head. Aroma has some banana and citrus but really is overloaded with clove and nutmeg. The flavor is a bit more to my liking with more banana than the nose along with a light tartness, citrus, wheat bread, and spicy chewy yeast. A bit tangy, fruity aftertaste. There is a bit of chlorine / dishwater notes when it warms up but it’s not horrible. Flavor tastes fairly close to its Bavarian brethren. Pretty chill Hefeweizen. I’m not sure I would put this in the very top tier of American-made Bavarian Weissbier, but it is pretty good.

Heavy on the bananas as the music is on the mus-zac. Sorry, but for a hefe, this beer rocks! Bold as fuck! I dig it.

I hate hefeweizens but again, three Floyd makes every beer awesome. Fruity wheat and grassy taste. Good for the style

A typical hefferweizen. Wheaty and fruity and smells wheaty. Pours a cloudy yellow. Would get again.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Hazy pale gold to amber pour with a 1 finger, creamy off white head. Aroma loaded with banana and sharp clove notes, sweet wheat, light floury grain, cereal, creamy lemon curd and light vanilla. Flavor is banana and Nilla wafers up front, some fruity lemony citrus, vanilla, a hint of bubblegum and more mellow, spicy clove notes than in the aroma. Heavy body, creamy to chewy feel on entry leading to a still chewy, but less creamy and slightly chalky in the finish. Really solid Hefe, hits all the right notes, just not perfectly.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
A very solid hefeweizen beer, poured dark yellow, with very little head. The flavor was typical of a hefe with strong clove and slight bubble gum.

3.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
12 ounce draft in a tulip glass at Fountainhead in Chicago. Misty orange tint with a light and quick-to-melt layer of foam on top. Faint yeast and citrus aroma. Very refreshing taste. Orange, coriander, crackers, clove, banana bread, lemon, and mild throat tickling sweetness flavors. Light bodied, crisp mouthfeel. Overall one of the best hefes I've had in a while, managing to deliver traditional flavors in a lively and pleasant package, all without any slap in the face intensity. You could easily have a couple of these, and it's a nice send off to the beverages of warm weather months.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a cloudy amber with a finger of white head. Aroma is predominantly banana with noticeable clove. The taste flips those two... Seems like I just bit into a clove from a holiday ham
That's not a bad thing. This beer has powerful flavors mixed together nicely.
