Pours a hazy gold with a sizable fluffy white head. Aroma and taste dominated by banana, cloves, and lots of sticky bubble gum. Sweet and satisfying, awesome summer beer.

growler from brewpub. nose of banana and lightly floral hops and clean through it all. flavor is well hopped for style but restrained for FFF with a touch of sizzling bitterness. clove note is delicious and nearly has a burnt character. appearance is ultra cloudy eggy sun orange. even a kick of sugary bubblegum comes to play. rubbery mouthfeel is wonderous.

On tap at premise. Nice hazy orange-yellow pour with a big whipped head. Aroma is of bananas, cloves and malt. Very refreshing and tasty- it reflected the aromas. It was smooth, easy to drink, tasty. You can’t go wrong.

On tap at Three Floyds. Pours hazy orange with a tall, frothy white head. Aroma is of banana, clove spice, malt, and corn. Got some corn in there that I didn’t expect. Taste is of wheat, spice, citrus, banana, clove, and even a little lemon. Lingering taste of spicy banana. Body is medium and the mouthfeel is light and slightly sticky like an orange juice. Drinks really damn easy. A little too much banana, but enjoyable.

Half pint at the brewpub... Pours similarly to a dark and milky orange juice with a silky just off-white head... Largely banana and some lighter orangey citrus. Pretty assertive aroma overall but nice for a hefe... Medium bodied and creamy mouthfeel from this above par hefe with large sweet banana and lighter orange notes. Medium carbonation. Holds together pretty well... Not a huge hefe fan but this is quite good. Still give the nod to new glarus for wheats.

Tall draft on tap at the brewpub (Munster, IN). Pours a well hazed and heavy dark gold, glowing, good thick eggshell white hjead that laces well, a bit cakey. Aromas are flaked wheat, banana esters with a touch of lemon, clove, flaked wheat malts. Initial is a fairly full body for a Weiss. Estery banana with lighter clove (usually get clove heavy feel), full feeling with good flavors, flaked wheat maltiness, faint lemon with a light bitterness in the finish. The banana really grabs me with this beer, some may not like it, but some may. I do. A touch of bread, flaked wheat. A solid Hefe in terms of flavor, body, and palate. Possibly, a bit one dimensional. But, who cares? It is very tasty

On tap at FFF brewpub. Big sunny yellow pour with a nice thick white head floating on top. Aroma of citrus, clove,, honey and spice. Nice citrus flavors with some spice and in the finish. Nice mouthfeel with good carbonation. This could rank up there with the New Glarus Hefes.

On tap at the brewpub: A nice hefeweizen with banana, spice and some citrus. This got lost during the day by the other beers our group tried.
