egajdzis (2970), Terrapin, Pennsylvania, USA Apr 29, 2006 Poured a muddy brown golden color with a medium sized, white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of clove, banana, citrus fruits, and lots of spices. Taste of more banana, spicy cloves, bubblegum, tart citrus, and a thick and chunky mouthfeel. New favorite hefe! railcat1 (488), Hammond, Indiana, USA Apr 29, 2006 GREAT TASTEING BEER .NEVER HAD THIS STYLE BEFORE BUT NOW I FIND MY SELF DRINKING THIS EVERY TIME I STOP IN.TASTE IS VERY SMOOTH NO BITE TO IT JUST FLOWS GOOD. CHEERS TO THE GUYS AGAIN Firemoose15 (491), Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, USA May 22, 2006 On draught day before DL release. Aroma very enticing toasty wheat and roast banana. Pourded a cloudy orange juice color. Flavor was tasty, more banana and spices, just a bit of tartness. Palate was good, creamy and full. This to me was solid, made me want to smuggle a keg out. thedm (3406), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA Aug 24, 2006 This draft brew from the brewery poured a very small sized head of finely sized white colored bubbles that was long lasting and left behind a very hazy no visible carbonation dark yellow colored body and an excellent lacing. The aroma was of fruity banana malty spicy herbal and doughy. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish with a lingering fruity aftertaste. The flavor contained notes of malt banana and dough. Delicious and one I would certainly buy again. shrubber85 (2506), Wallhalben, Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany Aug 28, 2006 Tap. Very strong banana, bubblegum and clove aroma - great. Cloudy amber color with a moderate but quickly collapsing head - almost closer in color to a dunkelweizen. Sweet clove, bubblegum and banana with a mild hops finish that is very unusual for the style but still nice. Nice full mouthfeel - became slightly cloying as the beer warmed. A great Weizen and thankfully resurrected in time for my visit.
