This is very complex. Sweetness and tanginess right up front gives way to subdued fruitiness. Pretty red-orange color with a rapidly diminishing head and carbonation level. Notable alcoholic presence. Great on a cold evening, but appropriate anytime. Quite good.

Really an unusual brew. Not a Dubbel per se, but excellent none the less. While the residual sweetness breaks through to leave the taste of plums and raisins. Then come the hops. Full flavored here in the typical Floyd's fashion yet nicely blended to compliment the overall experience.

Surprisingly complex...I bet this was the millionth batch that finally turned out good! Candy Sugar and dark fruits added to a huge alcoholic first sip. I compared it to an Orval that accidently got dry hopped for 90 minutes. I hope this becomes a regular and makes me fear the upcoming Alpha Kong Quadruppel!

WOW! what a cool brew-Nick FLoyd himself brought this keg out to the tap at the brewery in Munster. I am not familiar with the style of brew, but he said it tastes like Duval. Candy aroma, apperance was cloudy beige-palate was sweet sweet sweet-nice subtle hop bite to round it all out-maybe they will try to make this a regular?
