Every FFF’s is an adventure not to be passed on. This power pilsner amplifies all the characteristics of a good pilsner. Normally subtle in many ways this pilsner is loud and wants to be noticed. Pour from a 22 with a classic golden hue and white head.

UPDATED: OCT 15, 2013 Not much going on here at all. I can’t say anything about it. It isn’t bad. It’s just very run of the mill.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at Argus Bar Grille in Madison, WI. for their GToM pre-party. Enjoyed by shaker in the Underground, displaying a clear golden color, with a modest layer of white, frothy head foam, and spots & streaks of lacing. The aroma was typical but expressive pils, lager, and noble nose. The flavor was amped hops & malt, with some malty sweetness. Best of the Imperial Pils’ tried so far. Well rounded and very drinkable, but isn’t the style kind of a conflict in terms?

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Hazy gold with a thin white head. Aroma is lagery yeast and pilsner malt. Taste is the same and a touch of citrus. Palate is full for a pilsner with a great dry finish and heavy carb bite. Very refreshing and flavorful.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Appearance:medium light yellow with a dense but fluffy white head that left significant swathes of soapy lace. Aroma: big dose of floral and grassy hops over a barely detectable bed of crackery pilsner malt. Taste: bright citrus tang and big floral hops up front, then a good hit of slightly sweet toasted white bread. Finish: crisp but not clean (in a good way), as the lingering hops dry the palate nicely. Notes: This was, simply, great. The palate was spot on perfect, and the hoppy character was borderline insubordinate. Also, the cover art looked like a cross between Heironymous Bosch and Warhammer 40,000.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle shared at natifest. Pours a pale yellow with no head. Aroma is floral and fruity. Tastes fruity, sweet, and a touch floral. Overall, one of the better imperial pilsners I’ve had to date.
