22 oz bomber from a trade with The Alum. Poured a slight chill hazed dark rusty orange body with an average sized foamy white head. Aroma is sweet with notes of green grapes, raisins some honey and bread. Fuller bodied with average to slightly strong carbonation and a quick fading aftertaste. Flavor of old wet bread with some honey and grapes, basically it’s sweet and grainy overall. Interesting beer but I’m still not sold on this style.

Bomber from Secret Santa (alexsdad06) - thanks for this. I’ve loved Impy Pils ever since Sam Adams brought theirs out. Pours hazy orange tinged gold with a creamy near-white head. Aroma is bready and citrusy/fruity. Unusual. Med + body. Wow. It’s hoppy. It is hoppy.* Now the hop seems rather Saaz. It has something of a barley wine aspect. It just gets better and better. Gets lush. Yum. *in a relative sense. Darn hoppy for a lager!

Bottle , Hazy light orange color with a fluffy white head. Aroma was a bit yeasty with hints of honey and light citrus. Flavor was very much the same as the aroma, sweet and a tad yeasty. Overall a good showing here.CHEERS!

Bottle shared by BenC...thanks Ben! - Pours hazy golden amber with a thin off-white head. Honey cornbread on the nose with some yeast and light herbal hoppiness. Very fruity taste, with lots of yeastiness, pale malt, and an almost sugary note. Feel like the hops are blanketed by the other flavors, and there’s very little crispness. Grassy hops on the finish, and the whole thing is pretty mouth-filling. Just not my style--I want this thing toned down, crisped-out, and a little more easy-drinking.

Pour is a clear light gold bordering on yellow color with a small white head. Nose is a bit malty with some light fruit notes as well. Taste is rather sweet with a little bit of a citric hop bitterness in the backend.

22 oz bottle shared with sherm1016.....from ’lake beer fridge’.....an older beer from the fridge...may have lost an edge on the crispness factor but still a tasty pilsner (which usually isn’t two words used together...)....hope they ’do it again’...

22oz bottle, purchase at DLD 2011. Pours a clear, amber color with a big white head and some lacing. Aroma is malty, cereal, bread, a little spicy hops. Medium on the palate with average carbonation. Flavor is bitter, spicy hops, malty, cereal, with a nice bitter hop finish. Not FFF’s best, but a tasty pilsner.
