StFun (265), Indiana, USA Jan 24, 2008 Wow...This beer has been retired since 06, and I still saw some on the shelf as of a month ago? Good Lord!! Anyways, this was a most average beer, a weaker blander version of Alpha King. Glad they got rid of this one...gives them more time to experiment and create some delicious brews! RSRIZZO (949), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA Dec 1, 2007 Had this beer on 10/15/1998. ight gold color and aroma. Body is light with a bitter finish and a nice hop flavor. railcat1 (482), Hammond, Indiana, USA May 16, 2006 HAD THIS LATE 2004 AND WAS DISAPOINTED.THIS BEER TASTED JUST PLAIN VERY MILD AND BLAH GLAD THEY RETIRED THIS AND MOVED TO BIGGER AND BETTER THINGS CHEERS MIBRomeo (1845), Wisconsin, USA Dec 14, 2005 Poured a dark murky color w/ a small off white head and some ok lacing. Smelled like a bad floral hop with hints of carmel. Had an odd mouth feel but coated ok. The flavor was reminiscent of pepto and dead flower petals. This was just not a good beer. 1FastSTi (2357), Glendale, Wisconsin, USA Dec 14, 2005 Weird. I found this in the cooler at Benno’s. I can see why they retired it. It isn’t very good. I see that it’s supposed to be floral. Yes. It is. But that’s also the downfall of this brew. The beer pours to a dark bronze body with lots of particulate in suspension. Thin white head. The aroma is floral and caramel. The floral hops come to the front in the flavor and are weird. The palate is bitter. Not a good brew from FFF. (Floydicus informed me that this was last brewed 4 years ago. It is likely past it’s prime).
