COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Moderate malt body and light hopping provides a refreshing brew with a crisp hop bite and a clean finish. Clean malt base and bright citrus aromas give this easy-drinking ale a robust floral hop nose.

Nice citrusy aroma, as promised. Golden color. The taste has a bit of hops, although not anywhere near as much as their Alpha King. Kind of tastes like a liquified honey-mustard sauce. Its got that same sort of tangy feel. Lemony aftertaste, just slightly bitter. Not as good as the King, but a very easy drinker.

UPDATED: JUN 14, 2003 Clear bright light copper color, small white head, sweet light malt aroma, kind of nutty. Light balanced malt and hop flavors, some hops noticeable in the finish, clean. This pale ale is very light in body and on the tongue, a little watery, otherwise has some good flavor, a good session beer.

UPDATED: JUN 22, 2003 The commercial description is accurate. This is a very nice, light, Summer brew. FFFs is the best thing to happen to Indiana since the Munsters! Wow, what a terrible pun.

The kinder, gentler alpha king? This one maintains a decent hop presence, but it’s a quiet strength. It is just a gentle pale, a tad sweet for my taste.

Bottle. A light golden look. A very mild beer with a slight hop bite which ends quickly. A nice citric floral aroma. A little too clean and plain for my tastes.

A less hoppy version of Alpha king. Very enjoyable beer. This one is very refreshing on a warm day.

Light, hoppy, citrus notes. Might make a nice session ale.

Light, clear golden color, with a huge head that faded quickly. Floral hops in the nose. Big hops in the taste, with some wit-esque spiciness. Finish is a mite lemony with sort of a hearty, charcoal-grilled hint to it. Creamy and a mite undercarbonated. Improves dramatically with spicy food; rating reflects that.

Its alpha king, toned down about 2 nothces-same style bitter hops, very similar finish-just a little more pale in appearance. check it out!

UPDATED: MAY 11, 2003 a lighter version of Alpha King? Medium malts, a little lighter hopped. nice 'clean' smooth taste. a good session ale.
