3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Moooooser (8) - Indiana, USA - AUG 25, 2010 does not count
A little weak for a Three Floyd’s beer (one of my favorite breweries, for the record). It’s not a bad beer, and many breweries should be proud to produce this, but it doesn’t have anything that makes it truly special. There is very little jasmine flavor, and overall it doesn’t offer much complexity.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 anders37 (5508) - Malmö, SWEDEN - JUL 18, 2010
Bottle. Pours an orange color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty caramel aroma with some hoppy hints. Sweetish malty hoppy flavor with hints of caramel. Has a sweetish malty hopy finish with some bitterness in the aftertaste.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Sledutah (738) - Utah, USA - JUN 12, 2010
22oz bottle, thanks to Jason for this one
Appearance: Pours slightly hazy amber with a small off-white head that dissipates quickly leaving no lacing in the glass
Aroma: It has a very crisp and refreshing aroma of sweet malts, toffee & herbal tea (jasmine?)
Taste: Very little carbonation, thin mouthfeel. Malts, bready, earthy and some hop bitterness in the finish
I think this is past it’s prime for being a IPA, but it is still an enjoyable beer to drink. Crisp, clean and refreshing.

Amber with minimal head. Floral nose that is nice and fruity. Floral flavor that is also sappy. Fresh hops and hints of honey and tea.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 Nickls (554) - Geneva, SWITZERLAND - APR 27, 2010
(Old BA rate - tap at BCTC 08)
Orangey and Amber, looked almost like some DIPAs even though it’s not
Lots going on here with the added spices - definitely catch the jasmine and other floral aromas on top of the hops. Pretty complex for an IPA, with the jasmine again. Hops were not that overwhelming, but shown through and were true to style. Definitely interesting each sip. Smooth, and almost a little viscous to me. Not as much carbonation as expected. I easily worked my way through both samples that I had, almost a little too quickly. I wish I were able to get my hands on this more often. Overall, I thought this was a really great beer
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 probstk (1363) - Nepean, Ontario, CANADA - APR 22, 2010
Bomber shared by Lubiere (merci!), served cold in a goblet. 10AP10. My first 3 F’s brew!
App.: Murky orange-amber with a white rim.
Aroma: Lots of malt, dried fruits, sweet honey, peppery, treacle, restrained molasses, almost bright tropical fruits, interesting.
Palate: Medium body and restrained effervescence.
Flav.: Lots of esters, dried fruits, sweet honey, an indescribable savoury/sweet note, lots of esters, slightly mashy; sweet with limited bitterness and an estery finish.
Not ideal for a first from this epic brewer.
3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20 Lubiere (5129) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - APR 18, 2010
A reddish copper ale with a thin white head. A superb vinous IPA with treacle, pinhey hops, musty notes, quite nice. In mouth, a light bodied IPA with some good hopping, floral, but overall, after more than 1 year, this one is not holding up as expected. Tasted with Diogene, Probstk, Mike on April 10 2010.
