3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
West coast hoppiness, golden amber, small off-white head. Quite hoppy and a malt follow up. Medium bodied, hoppy. Very nice beer, doesn't seem to fit the style.

UPDATED: NOV 24, 2005 pale yellow color, totally clear, with smallish white head. Aroma is absolutely full of amarillo hops, slightly spicey. Flavor is hoppy, sweet, a touch of wheat, rather acidic. A nice summery brew, kind of like a super hoppy american pilsner. Although I love amarillo hops, this brew may overdo it a bit. It’s still good.

Bottled. Hazy deep golden, brief heead. Bubblegum aroma.. Sweetish up front with loads of aromatic hops. Soft but clean mouthfeel. Refreshing with salrt, fairly bitter finish. A wheat beer hopped to hell, which is a good thing when talking about American wheats...

Pours yellow with a large head--looks like a wheat beer should. Great aroma of wheat and hops and an excellent wheat/citrus flavor. A good beer.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Slightly hazy yellow/gold body with a big fluffy white head and decent lacing. Starts with citrus and hop aromas, I tried and tried but didn’t smell any bubblegum - still this has a great aroma. Body is thin and full of a wheaty tang followed by a juicy citrus hop - oh yeah, it’s amarillo - I luv amarillo hops!

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Hazy golden color with a large white head. The aroma was full of citrus...particularly grapefruit, with a sweet character in the background...bubblegum, ashes, and toasted wheat. The flavor was wonderfully balanced between the aggressive citrus hop tones and the sweeter wheat tones. Lively, crisp feel with a semi-dry finish. Wonderful American Wheat! Thanks BBB63.

The beer came is a 22 oz. brown bomber with no freshness date. The body of the pour was hazy pale yellow with a tall creamy head. The aroma was very flowery hops with a touch of citrus. The taste was refreshingly hoppy and citric with a sweet fruity malt undertone. The mouthfeel was slick and soft with a perfect carbonation. Aftertaste was a bit drying after each swallow, causing you to rush to the next sip. A perfect summer session brew that melds the best aspects of a wheat beer and an IPA.
