4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
I don’t have much to say about this beer: it is very refreshing, crisp, with grapefruit and other citrus flavors in both the flavor and in the aroma. Nice! Good balance, nice carbonation, nice looking.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
I’ll make this simple: Go out and get as many of these as you can while you can! Mildly hazy amber/orange pour supporting a medium and creamy white head with plenty of lacing. Fruity aroma with plenty of sweet citrus, fresh biscuits and hops. Superbly balanced and inviting combination of flavors which open with an IPA profile and finish with just a kiss of spicey, yeasty wheat. Grapefruit, pine, malt, apricots, hops and a touch of spice. Mouthfeel was full and satisfying with a moderate carbonation bite. Finish was sweet, crisp, bitter and inviting of another long sip. It’s hard to call this a "wheat" ale because it lacks many of the hallmark notes of a traditional American Wheat but it also has much more flavor and complexity. Too bad this is only a seasonal brew because it would be a year-round tennent in my fridge otherwise!

Bottle and growler from kp. Gold cloudy pour from bottle, clear from growler. Big hoppy citrusy grapefruit aroma and flavors, with just the right amount of sweet wheat malt backing it up. Bottle seemed a little overcarbonated, and kp’s growler was undercarbonated. I enjoyed it either way.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Clear and golden with a long lasting, off white head. Has that quality ale look, where bubbles move at a moderate pace to the surface, where they support a leisurely, long lasting head. Grassy, lemon, froot loop aroma. Sweet and resinous with a smooth palate and generous body. Big hop flavor and nice lacing. American Wheat IPA?

On tap, slighlty hazy. Flavor was a bit frutiy, my wife said it tasted like berry, but I’d echo the apple comments. Very refreshing on a hot summer day. Now if I could only find it in bottles....

Nice looking beer -- orangy-amber color with a big, white, frothy head that shrank quickly with thick lacing. Slighty hazy. Nose was big hoppy, herbal and alcoholic, with notes of citrus fruit, particularly grapefruit and lemon, some wheat breadiness, and a bit of honey. Flavors of grapefruit, big hops, apple, some malt, yeast, and a smidgen of dill. Big hop finish and long-lasting orange aftertaste. A tad thin. Very enjoyable, refreshing wheat.

The golden color and light hoppy finish make this a good appetizer beer, especially on a hot day.

Pours a inviting golden yellow amber color. The first smell is of hops, sweetness and citrus. The taste is hard to compare to any other beer. There’s hops, followed by a sweet citrus flavor to finish off smooth and refreshing. I very drinkable yummy brew. It’s hard to stop taking sips.
