I was floored this morning when I discovered this is a wheat beer. Incredible smack of hoppy, floral goodness hit me right right away and I thought for sure it was some version of an IPA. Lots of fruity goodness packed with a nice punch. I loved it. Still cannot believe itís a wheat.

22 oz bomber compliments of Hopscotch. Hazy yellow with a plesant lemony scent. Nice lacy white head. Very refreshing. The perfect beer for a nice hot summer day. Kind of resembles a tall glass of ice team with lemon. I was never a big fan of wheat beers but what the hell, this isnt your run of the mill wheat beer. This is one I will definately enjoy again.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Golden color with a tall off-white head. Big hoppy-pine and slightly fruity aroma. Initially the flavor is a lot like the aroma with hoppy pine and then I notice some lemon before the finish turns a little grassy. I like it. Watery palate with high carb. and a metallic finish.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle. Nose is dank pot with lemony, orange, and tangerine notes. A bright light amber color with a frothy bright white head. Mouthfeel is lite bitterness with a grassy feel to it. Tastes of citrusy hops. Very full for a wheat beer. nice complexity with some astringency, bitterness, and fruity tastes.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
on tap. knocked down a couple of pints over dinner. a delicious thirst quenching wheat beer! pour was a hazy golden yellow with a thin head that faded to lace around the edge of the glass. aroma was of floral & citrus hops. even though the aroma hit you in the chops, the malt flavor balanced out this beer to perfection. even my son, who likes wheat beer but not hops thought this was a great beer. unlike so many wheat beers that are thin and watery, this offered a medium to almost full palate. wonderful brew, I could drink this one all day!

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: AUG 9, 2006 22oz - The aroma is sweet and floral hop I did not expect from a wheat. Transparent yellow color with not much head and lacing. A citrus hop bite that goes down smooth and has a good slick palate. I wish FFF didnít charge so much for it or it would be a good session brew.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Beautiful hazy orange in color with a minimal, bubbly white head. Aroma is very crisp; hoppy, pine, grass and honey. Taste is very good and refreshing, initially seeming like a Belgian Wit crossed with an American IPA. Pineapples and oranges really come out. Some hints at vanilla and amarillo, transitioning taste to resemble something similar to the sweetness of strawberry Pop Tart frosting. Body is a little thin, but perfect for a summer quaff. Highly hopped and carbonated, but the malts play a good supporting role. Finish is bitter sweet. Summer beer? - hell yes it is. Matches the season perfectly. Thanks for the extra bottle, MrFacto!

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
The aroma of this is very close to Pride & Joy, Iíd almost think I was smelling the same beer. A little more grassy and lemony than P&J, but boatloads of very similar hoppy goodness. On the first drink, this beer really zings the tastebuds. Real citrusy hops (lemon/grapefruit) upfront are a bit souring, with a slick mouthfeel. Not overpowering though, as the body smooths out and finishes clean. Ahhh, a great summertime beer.

UPDATED: APR 21, 2006 I donít know anything about the comic book hero but, this beer is right up my alley: easy to drink, awesome to taste. I love aggresively hopped beers and wheat beers- so what do they do, they combine the two. This is probably the best summer beer Iíve ever tasted. Now I have a reason to go to Indiana!

On tap at the brewery.Clear piss color with a lot of white foam.Lots of hops with an undertone of grain Maybe it because I am in the brewery and that mash aroma is messing this up for me.It is a little thin but for sure.
