COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An American Wheat Beer brewed with red wheat and boat loads of amarillo hops gives this summer brew a lemony finish. The slight haze in the bottle is from the bottle-conditioning, where yeast is added to the bottle for a secondary fermentation. Gumballhead is a Skingraft Comics hero. From bottle. I've had many of these over the years; one of the perks of living in Chicago. To sum-up my opinion in this...looks like a pale ale but with more phone. It's a lite weight wheat beer. Not much cloudiness or thickness, but does retain the citrusy sweetness and some spiciness of a model wheat beer plus it has just enough hop fire and bitterness to give it an edge. Very drinkable; if it were not for the alcohol content; I'd drink a whole six pack on my own. Smelling this is reminiscent of opening a bag of gumballs, though not in a sick way. Love this beer! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This is a hop heavy wheat beer. I am not the biggest wheat beer fan but really enjoyed this one. Good hop nose and finish without the bitter finish. No Belgium yeast flavors which I am happy about!

Bottle with a not able to read, bottled date..pours a darker than usual coppery color than expected for a wheat beer, not a big fan of wheat beers for the most part, but this is well executed, nose is malty with bready dough evident, not getting much lemon as usual, but some dried fruit essence, perhaps dried apricots, light bodied, easy to drink, goes well with food, this is my kind of wheat beer, kudos..

Bottle from the brewery bottled 6 days ago, shared. Clear golden with short lasting white head. Lots of fruity hops with pineapple, mango, pear. Maybe some of these fruity round bubblegums that come in assorted colors or maybe thatís just the name of this beer putting that in my head. Light malts and fresh baked bread. Just under medium sweet with over medium bitterness. Medium bodied with a bit dry feel. Very nice.
