This isn’t a common wheat ale. The bottles appearance could have told me that. It stands out. The hops are prominent and I enjoy the after taste.

Had to look up the definition of a Wheat Ale before this rate. This fits the bill. Pours hazy yellow with big dissipating white head. Scent is lemony, spicy, with slight bread. Flavor has the citrus of a wheat beer with a big hoppy bite. Live on the tongue. I can see why it is best of style brew. Bottle - Received in Trade

Tasted from a 12oz. bottle. It poured a hazy golden hue with a frothy white head and streaky lacing. Has a fruity hopped-wheat aroma. Taste of wheat with a layer of citrus-zest.

Bottle from Mikkeller & Friends in Copenhagen. Fruity smell and something that reminds me of honey. As it warms up the hops shows up. Fruity taste with some hops. Light body. Easy to drink.

My favorite beer from my favorite brewer. So glad I live in Indiana and can pick up my weekly 6 pack of Gumballhead. For those who have not tried Broodoo by Three Floyd's, it has a very similar taste profile. Highly recommended.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
@ Drakes / Florence KY --- Bright hazy orange amber with a solid 1" white head, swirls of lace. Good looking brew. Taste is mild malt with a little grass, and a hint of citrus and honey. Hops enter assertively at the back of the palate, lasting well into the finish. Solid food beer, and a good aperitif as well. Recommended.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle. Pours a hazy amber with medium white head. Aroma is hoppy hay and caramel. Taste is light enough to make sure you know this is a wheat beer. Lemon and hoppy, slight bitter. Never got the crazy love for this one.
