An American Wheat Beer brewed with red wheat and boat loads of amarillo hops gives this summer brew a lemony finish. The slight haze in the bottle is from the bottle-conditioning, where yeast is added to the bottle for a secondary fermentation. Gumballhead is a Skingraft Comics hero. Bottle. Pours a very pretty golden wheat color. Small whitish head, with little lacing. Aroma is of strong citrus. Grapefruit is the main thing I can smell. maybe a touch of wheat and pine. First mouthfull was a bit thin in my opinion. Very lemony and grapefruity in the taste. Very little in the wheat flavoring of this brew. A little to overpowering with the citrus and hops in my opinion. Still a good beer though.

12oz bottle poured into a pint glass. Gumballhead pours a pretty hazy golden yellow with a two finger thick eggshell white foamy head that lasts a good couple minutes. The aroma is lemon and earthy. The flavor is bread, earthy with a lemon finish. The beer is medium bodied and very smooth. Overall this is an easy drinker with a smooth crisp finish and good flavor.

Poured from a bottle. Golden straw haze with healthy white head that laces very well. Very aromatic with citrus and lemon. Some slight caramel sweetness with wheat grain malt. Soft bitterness to compliment the sweetness.

6 pack bought at brewpub. Bottled 6/24/2015. Pours a bright gold with nice head. Aroma is almost sugary-cereal, wheat, minimal grassiness, enormously sweet. Flavor is juicy, bright, lemony, banana; drinkability and mouthfeel of a wheat but much more colorful in flavor. A staple. Best consumed fresh.

On tap at the Melt in Independence. Patty(Miller Lite girl) ordered a glass of this too and actually thought it was bitter.(she has never had a IPA before, so she does not know bitter) Poured hazy golden color with a small white head. Aroma is yeast, wheat, fruits, citrus notes. Taste is wheaty, some yeast, crispy hoppy notes. This is a very smoooooth beer. I really enjoyed it.
