4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle thanks to joshmcg000. Hazy gold pour with a 1 finger, creamy white head that has great retention and leaves pretty decent lacing. Aroma of super fruity, citrus and pineapple heavy tropical fruit hops, dusty wheat, sweet malt and a hint of grassiness. Flavor starts off with lots of lemony citrus and tart stone fruit, then some dusty and floury wheat, a little biscuit, and increasingly strong pineapple heavy tropical fruit, a little minerality comes in along with a lemon curd tartness and nice acidic hop bite. Light to medium body with a creamy, juicy entry, hugely blanketing moderate strength and fairly sharp carbonation and aforementioned acidic hop bite, fits the awesome fruity flavor profile extremely well. This is one of those beers that make you wonder, if hop bines produced a fruit, would the juice of that fruit be this good?

Fantastisk humle doft. Mer av en vete IPA än en Wheat Ale. Bra balanserad beska tillsammans med en viss vete.

Tap@Mikkeller & Friends, Copenhagen - golden to orange coloured pour with white head. Aroma and taste is lemony citrus fruity, with some pale malt and crispy wheaty, grassy, interesting brew.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Hops up front, citrus in the middle and nice finish. Actually tastes somewhere between a pale ale and a wheat. One of the best wheat beers I've had to this point.

4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Très surprenant, des aromes d’épices asiatiques, une base maltée mélangeant caramel et blé, avec une finale douce, équilibrée par un bel houblonnage, aucune amertume. Excellente bière de soif.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
Had this a million times, just realized I never rated it before. Orange color with white fluffy head. Taste is right down the middle of a pale ale and wheat beer, almost more on the pale side since I hate wheats, yet love this beer. Fruitty, citrus, malts, delicious.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Very hop forward - the hops kind of take over from the more subtle wheat aromas here. Light bitter finish. Tap at Big Star.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
Floral and bubblegum aroma. Golden brown color. Taste is slight piney hops, with som bubble gum and then juicey citrus. Very nicely balanced. Slight carbonation on the palate. Will seek this out again.

Pours a hazy golden color with white head. Amazing hop aroma and not too bitter.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Look - See through dull, light colored gold. White, medium head.
Smell - Has the dank hop aroma. There is malt as well. Not really "wheat."
Taste - Very good wheat (mellow), hop (slight bitter), and malt taste. There is a bread aftertaste. Not very floral or fruity.
Feel - Stings the tongue. Feels like water.
Overall - Drink this on a porch. This is a good wheat to ale transition beer.

Poured from a bottle....pale, white head...one of those beers that doesn’t have to stop to change color. Fruity without the hops. Crisp, clean and easy to drink, a great summer beer. Too bad it’s a never ending winter.
I’d probably love this when I’m out fishing on a nice summer day, but I’m old and my bones hurt. Three Floyds is hard come by around here, unless it’s Robert the Bruce. I’ll try it again later....I hope.
