What an awesome label! Bottle thanks to Jeremy I believe. Pours a cloudy black color with a large light brown head. A sweet nose of milky chocolate and roast. A very smooth sweet Brown Ale-like mellow stout with lactose, at times aggressive roast, caramel. Very good.

Black with light tan head. No aroma. Taste is malty with a bit of roast. Little roast, good body. Nothing to get excited about here.

The taste is really nice, and there is definitely a mineral saltiness at the back of the palate that really distinguishes this as an oyster stout. Very rich front palate too, nice roasty malty stout flavors, some coffee and cream flavors too. A really flavorful beer that’s salty and a little sweet, very nice. super tasty oyster stout.

Bomber from the brewpub. Really handsome pour, a smoky, dusky dark brown with a head that’s by turns silken and gritty. Gnarly erster nose, filled with hints of mild smoke along with almonds and understated fruits. Fine, creamy mouthfeel but not excessively heavy. Taste is fantastic, adding nice molasses at the base and hints of brine throughout. Complex and awesome.

Bomber poured a clear dark reddish brown with a small lingering tan head. Aromas of dark chocolate, roastiness, coffee and saltiness. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of roatiness, coffee, bitter chocolate, saltiness and light vanilla with a smooth lingering roasty finish.

Thanks Bauermj. Pours a dark opaque black with burnt brown edges and one finger of dense chestnut tan head. Nose is heavy with black strap molasses and the kind of almost smokey character that comes from roast barley. Light minerality and saline character present. Papery in the flavor, stale grain and bitter molasses/burnt sugar. Acidic dark grain/coffee character. Not too crazy about this one.

This is quite a nice ale. It is very roasty and toasty. Sweet and bitter. An enjoyable quaff :)

dark sepia, large cream head dissipates quickly to wisps and ring. Nose is lightly plum and lactose, lightly roasty, bit of cardboard. Flavor is more roasty, lightly spiced and earthy, bit of sweet fruits in the end. Not bad for FFF.

Poured from bottle at Natifest 12. Dark brown hue, firm sweet malty aroma, taste is musty, somewhat sweet, astringent, with a hint of oyster flavoring. There are better stouts out there but this is more than adequate.
