Smoky chocolate. Syrupy with some dark cherry notes. Slight mocha flavor. Sweet malt flavors. I would drink this again in a heartbeat.

Bottle thanks to a trade! Pours black with a creamy tan head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has a nice light coffee and roasted malt note with a hint of creaminess. Flavor begins with roasted malts and mellows in to a creamy slightly sweet chocolate note.

750mL thanks to nuplastikk. Pours deep brown to black with a medium, tan head. Rocky head retention. Nose is dark cherry, sweet milk chocolate, small saltwater brine. Taste is dry, tangy, mildly salty. Bitter dark chocolate. Quick finish. Easy palate. Dry and clean. Nice raw chocolate bitterness. Palate is crisp, clean, on style.

Pours a ruby black with a bit less than a finger of dark beige head. Strong roasted malts in the nose, some burnt toast. Interesting mouthfeel- slightly sticky, some chocolate and a bit of a syrupy sweetness. Very interesting.

Bottle split with Allen, pours a light bodied purple with thin tan head. Aromas and taste are hoppy, smokey, and filled with chocolate, brown sugar, coffee, and salty shells. Wish it was a little fuller but it was refreshing and drinkable this light.

22 oz bottle from Dunt. Very dark brown with a tan head. Aroma is dominated by dark roasted coffee and malt with some chocolate too, no oyster aroma. Flavor is dry black malt, bitter coffee and a light salty brine in the finish. Medium body with a dry mouth feel. This is a good beer but hoped the brine and oyster would come through a bit more.
