On tap at the brewpub. Opaque, sunny orange pour. Pungent sweetness of pinapple and garlic cloves in the aroma; lit up by banana, vanilla and pears with a lot of lively spark and delicate sugar. Flavor brings some dense spice and phenols, seeming a bit warmer than it should or than it is. Quite estery and fairly dry; leafy hop character and white cracker yeast tones fill in the body with enough bready density and bitterness to create balance. Some ginger and pepper come through on the back of the nose in the mid-palate. Medium bodied in the mouth; syrupy and sticky to a surprising degree, leaving a cooling sweetness of vanilla in a creamy finish. Bitten with a bit more clove and dry grass at the very end. Lots of potential in this one, but it seems to wrap up as something quite less exciting than the sum of its seemingly well-chosen parts might project itself to be.

On tap at brewpub. The hops give it a nice taste as compared to the typical Belgian. Nothing too crazy here- actually pretty close to style other than the aggressive hops.

Draft into a tulip glass at the brewpub. orange brown color. Massive head which fades out after a minute, leaving the glass 1/5 empty. Sweet subdued aroma. Herby, sugary, yeasty tastes. Smooth, mellow carbonation. The yeast dominates a little too much in my opinion, lacks subtlety. Sugary, somewhat typical of US-Belgian beers.

On tap at the brewpub. Golden amber coloured with a medium sized head. Nice balanced although a bit too sweet for me. Notes of malt, hops, spices, cloves, banana, citrus and candied sugar.

This draft brew from the brew pub poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that were long lasting and left behind a hazy very softly carbonated orange brown colored body and a fair lacing. The weak aroma was bready and dough. The crisp mouth feel was tingly at the start and strongly tingly at the finish with a biting hoppy aftertaste. The balanced flavor contained notes of malt hops and dough. Delicious and one I would certainly buy again.

Pretty coppery pour. Presents a spicy/yeasty nose...fruity and pungent. The flavors are sweet roasted malts, light Belgian spiciness, fruity yeast and fairly robust herbal/earthy hop bite. Pretty interesting.
