3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Crushed at GABF ’10. Aroma of citrus, pine, and fruit loops. Very citrusy flavor which is excellent. A very excellent brew and, even though it’s a mild, it’s packed with flavor. Awesome.

2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
On tap at Local Option into a pint glass...Light clear orange with gold, a light off white head. Only rises half a finger gone quickly. Looks like a cask beer with a powder sugar head that settles fast. Light lacing...Super light aroma, light malt backbone of caramel, bread and nuts. a little hops on the back, boring!!...Taste is so boring, lightly sweet a little hops with a bitter aftertaste finish that is not good. Tough to drink a pint of this. A very subpar english mild not worth having.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at Poor Phil’s in Oak Park, IL., with a clear, golden color, modest, white head foam, and dots and dashes of lacing. The nose was light litter box and resin, and a sharper dose of citrus. The flavor was a light but balanced mixture of malt and hop bitterness, in a light body. Ultra-sessionable!

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
GABF 2010. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a fairly well-formed white head. The aroma has FFF’s trademark herbal and citrus hop profile along with some bready malt notes. The flavor has medium sweetness with pale malt and cereal grains, bread, and a pretty good herbal and citrusy hop bite. Medium-light bodied with average carbonation. A nice flavorful true session beer from FFF overall.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap at the brewpub. Poured a clear gold with a white head that dissipated to the edges. Aroma had a strong malt profile with, hay, grain, bread and a bit of biscuit. Flavor had a bit of grass hops in the start, but the malt profile takes over with the beer finishing with mainly hay and grain with a bit of biscuit sweetness.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft at the brewpub. Ah, so here’s where the actual mild ale from Three Floyds has been hiding, since the Pride & Joy is 5% ABV. Pours a cloudy gold color, with a finger-thick bone white head. Aroma of fresh hops, wheat, apricot, grains, and pine. Flavor of straw, hops, wheat, grains,
and just a hint of bready malts. Light-bodied, with a watery mouthfeel and mild carbonation. My friend called it a ’hop delivery device’ for people who need to drive home. That’s not an inaccurate description for this nice mild ale, which is just a little bitter.
