Wow, aroma bursts out of glass, spicy and fruity, herbs, grass and biscuit. Funny how so much of it slips away when tasted. Still very good.

Bottle at the Mikkeller bar Copenhagen. An ok lager, but nothing to write home about. Clear and refreshing but has nothing that sets is aside from the crowd. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle shared at Mikkeller bar. Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma of light malts, wheat and light fruit. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and light bitter. Light bodied with moderate carbonation. A nice take on a dull style.

draft at Slurping Turtle, Chicago. unfiltered hazed orange body. crisp fruit / citrus oil and flower petal hop notes in the nose with semi-sweet honey malt and mild doughy yeast. perfectly balanced with quenching acid, more banana esters than I’d prefer and more of a wheat creaminess than expected but not absurd levels to take away from the crispness and brightness. quenching and pungent and musty / minerallic noble hops make this one.

Hazy light golden pour with a small head. Nose is full of yeast and fruity. Taste is yeasty and grainy, with a short finish. Finish is bitter and yeasty. Love 3Fs but pilsner is just not in my repertoire . Rating definitely influenced by my dislike of pils and lagers !!! Quaff Score 4 / 10

Pale hazy yellow pour with thin white head. Sweet grassy scent - smells like a can of miller lite. Bitter intake, a little sour and a little hoppy but really light and drinkable. Sour, macro brew like finish but a nice lemon effervescence.

12 oz bottle from a trade with Zach. Pours a cloudy dark yellow color with a small white head that recedes to a film. The aroma is sweet and spicy with some allspice, cookie, and biscuit. The taste, like the nose, has a fair amount of spicy biscuit followed by a smattering of earthy grains and bitter nuts. The palate is silky smooth with soft carbonation. Finishes dry, clean and short. Overall: Decent Pils, thanks Zach

Draft at Jerry’s. Gold with big, foamy, white head / Clean nose of grain and resin with a hint of citrus / Medium body, creamy and somewhat fat, just a hint of sweetness, with excellent balance and bitter finish / Stylish flavors of grain, resin, lemon, pear, biscuit, and a touch of bubblegum / Near perfect, and probably perfect.

One of the more attractive pilseners I’ve seen. Hazy yellow with creamy off white head. Faintly sweet grain aroma. Taste is like a selzer bitter, very dry. Good for this style.
