3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
On tap. This is the brewery that I would least expect a good lager from. It is over-hopped, but all in all for an american light lager it is pretty good.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Very crisp clean pils. Aroma and taste are what you would expect from a quality pilsner. Makes me almost want to go mow the lawn.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
A good summer brew, for sure. This pours golden straw into the glass, with a decent sudsy head that reduces to a small ring of suds, leaving light soapy lace. The nose is of hay, grain and hop flowers. Clean pils malt flavors backed with a stout bitter back. The finish is a lingering peppery hop. The body is medium, with a active mouthfeel. Decent pils... and that’s saying something from me, as this is a style I generally do not enjoy.

3.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
the cleanest neatest drink in the sun pilsner out there. I’m pretty excited about these talented craft brewers just owning traditional styles. Very clean finish with an even hop bite and plisner malt flavor. too bad its $12 a 6 pack haha.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Nice golden pale straw color, clean finish and relative creaminess in the mouth. All in all, not a bad Pilsner, but while I like Pilsners, even if it is Three Floyd’s, it’s wayyyy overpriced at $11.99 for what an essentially basic style.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at GABF 2011. Pours a clear golden color with a medium white head. The aroma is all classic Pils: honey, sweet malts, dustiness. The flavor is a rich mix of sweet biscuit malts, some honey, very dry, a light bitter hop. Nice.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Phone rate. $5 stein at the brewpub. Gold with a creamy 1 1/2 off-white, down to a thick coating film after a couple mins. Pasta and grassy noble hops up front, some biscuit malts behind. Flavor follows suit, not too hoppy, not quite what I expected considering the brewer. Clean dry finish, bitterness peaked at a 2. Low creamy carbonation with a light to medium body. Darn tasty, and a great start to the night. Beats Oskar Blues’ and Avery’s from the can, on par with Joe’s on draught.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Golden color in the glass. Lively carbonation on the tongue. Pretty traditional pilsener. I guess I was expecting something different from 3 Floyds. Smell is mellow hop. Taste is pretty generic and average. Finish is dry. Easy to drink, but nothing special.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12oz bottle. Pours a beautiful clear golden with a tall frothy foamy white head. Aroma is nicely balanced of slight metallic and cheese noble hop, biscuits and faint honey, little bit of soap, nice pilsner. Flavor follows, bit more than off-dry, metallic bitterness, medium full breadiness, floral hops smooth it all together, just a bit sharp sticky rich on the finish. Medium bodied, full feeling, bit glassy feeling with prickly carbonation.
