3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from Mikkeller & Friends @ home, 10/5-14.
App: Slight hazy, golden orange, white fluffy head.
Aroma: Sweet, grassy, herbal, nobel hop/saaz, orange, apricot, wet hay, dough.
Taste: Sweet, apricot, orange peel, marmalade, dough, grass and a zesty bitterness that lingers. Herbal aftertaste.
Palate: Medium body, soft carbonation, slight oily and thick.
Overall: There’s the classic Saaz touch to it with grass and herbs, but it’s also quite muscular with apricot puree sweetness and a big bitterness. Pretty tasty.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pour is golden yellow and crystal clear with a tall, soapy head. Aroma is grainy with citrus hops and not much else. Taste is very clean with slightly sweet malt, and decent bitter grassy taste. Palate is thin, but crisp and refreshing. Medium light body, fizzy carbonation, and a brief malty finish make this a good, straightforward lager. If you are looking for a quality simple beer over a complex one, this is a good beer to have.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Golden yellow, 1/4 inch head, creamy white. Crisp, clean, bread, grain, finishes with hoppy bitterness. Very drinkable, as are all Three Floyds, but leaves no lasting impression. Good with popcorn.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Another FFF beer thanks to gumballdust.
Pours a slightly murky golden yellow with a nice think fluffy white head. Nice retention. Aroma is light and sweet. Wet hay, cracker, honey, a bit of yeast. Kind of has a graham cracker thing going on. Flavor packs a bit more of a punch than the aroma would let on. There is also a level of bitterness that lingers throughout the flavor that I was not expecting. The flavor is exactly like the aroma, just more robust with some bitterness added in there. A nice take on the pilsner style. There is nothing mind blowing about this but it would be a solid session beer.
