Draft at Jerry’s. Gold with big, foamy, white head / Clean nose of grain and resin with a hint of citrus / Medium body, creamy and somewhat fat, just a hint of sweetness, with excellent balance and bitter finish / Stylish flavors of grain, resin, lemon, pear, biscuit, and a touch of bubblegum / Near perfect, and probably perfect.

Wow, good pils. We poured at a good temperature with a huge, off white head that slowly settled out and loads of lace. Color is a hazy amber. Aroma is grass, hop, fresh bread dough, crackers, yeast. Flavor is like nose plus tang and very well balanced; super easy drinkng. Finish is like flavor and for the most part short, except a little beer tang.

Pours light, light brown/golden color. Not much aroma, but great light flavor. Consistent smooth taste as like other Threw Floyd brews.

On tap at the FFF brewpub in an imperial pint. Medium golden with a thin head of foam. Nice noble hop aroma (I know what this is now) and a fine flavor. It’s very smooth, almost foamy texture, not dry with a slightly hoppy finish.

Nice beer. Had on tap at three floyds. Golden color with little head. Slightly sweet. Very drinkable.

Bottle from the brewery. I wish this had been fresher because this is very well made. Nose of spent grain, grass, lemon peel. Color was a hazy yellow gold. Flavor was clean, grassy, almost Saaz-like with a mineral, refreshing finish. Really my cup of tea. I hope Jinx Proof stays in business so this gets made again.

UPDATED: JUN 17, 2013 Good god yes. I?m not a lager fan in general, but 3F nailed this. This has a good body, without being too heavy, and is still completely refreshing. None of that corny lager-y flavor. Packed with flavor, and just plain delicious. Edit from bottle: still delicious. Dark color, malty, good balancing hops.

Tap at DLD12. Creamy barley malt and hay aroma. Golden yellow color with small head. Slightly sweet creamy barley malt and mildly bitter hay hops flavor. Excellent - really like this one.

12oz bottle from the brewery. Hazy yellow-tan, steady off-white head. Light to medium bodied, this is an excellent Boho-Pils. Some yeasty lager characteristics, and a steady noble hop undercurrent, spicy, peppery, but perfectly balanced by the smooth, sweet, creamy body. Maybe the best Pils on the US market. Sublime.
