Pours gold into a tulip. Bright white head with medium retention recedes to mottle surface. Grapefruit aromas. Soft caramel and bitter earth front to back.

Bottled. Poured clear, brighter golden with a short white head. The aroma picked up fairly dry bready notes and a pinch of honey, with fresh lemon-lime accents.. very clean. The flavor opened with tangy lemon rind and a little salt, with semi-dry bready notes following.. crisp finish with more lemon and drier malts. Lighter-bodied and engaging on the palate.. very well balanced.. nice one!

Nice golden color with a one finger off white head. Aroma is crisp, hops and a hint of lemon. A refreshing summer beer with a nice crisp and slight dry finish. A good lager. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a clear pale yellow. White head. Aroma of crape skins and noble hops. I was expecting more "in your face" hops. Fairly clean tasting. Light medium body.

Pour on tap, clear golden pour with white head, aroma brought notes of bread, grass, herbal notes into a bit of vanilla, hints of grain, slight orange peel into a bit of yeast. Taste was a mix of vanilla, earth, bread into a bit of grass, herbal, orange, slight lemon, finishing fairly bitter, slightly dry.

Nice crisp and grassy pilsner. Glad to see three floyds can hold off on the hops every once and a while.

Normally not a lager guy - but this is pretty tasty - especially on a hot humid day.

Imperial pint draft served on tap at the brewpub (Munster, IN). Pours a lightly hazeÐ bright yellow, small white head that dies to a film and laces some. Aromas are a bit grassy hop dominant, some pilsner malt comes into the fold, faint stink, lemony and grainy. Initial is light bodied, fairly well carbonated, smooth on the palate with light pilsner malt, grainy and cereal qualities dominant, with grassy hops doing the balancing. Finish is crisp, clean, light bitternes from the hops. A clean drinker, smooth with decent flavor for the style. Overall, a good drinker. Cheers!

Bomber courtesy of StFun – thanks Josh! Pours a slightly hazy gold with a one finger white head that faded to a thin topper quickly. The nose is malt, grain, grassy hops and pilz spice. The taste is malt, grass and spice with a tart hop finish. Nice and refreshing. Medium prickly mouthfeel. Good Pliz – thanks again Big J!
