3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
draft at Slurping Turtle, Chicago. unfiltered hazed orange body. crisp fruit / citrus oil and flower petal hop notes in the nose with semi-sweet honey malt and mild doughy yeast. perfectly balanced with quenching acid, more banana esters than Iíd prefer and more of a wheat creaminess than expected but not absurd levels to take away from the crispness and brightness. quenching and pungent and musty / minerallic noble hops make this one.

A strong flavored pilsner that borders on wheaty. Pours a cloudy yellow and goes down smooth. Pretty bitter.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
This pours a semi-hazy golden yellow color with a slight white head. The aroma is filled with earth tones and grains that you expect from a pilsner. The taste is very strong with a very dry grain tone. This has a lot more dry hops than you would which is why I could this beer would turn some people away.

Bottle. Poured 11/15/13. Translucent straw-gold with fluffy, bubbly white head. Aroma is sweet, spicy, some corn (?), grass, light maltiness. Taste is sweet, citrus, earthy, grass, very mild and drinkable; finish is sweet with a touch of corn. Some nice lacing. Medium-low carbonation. Mouth feel is medium-full bodied. Not really all that bad. Drinkable. Almost sessionable.

12oz bottle - pours misty deep gold with offwhite head. Nose is floral. Hoppy for the style - surprise itís 3F... Fruit (apricot) aftertaste. Light to medium body. Refreshing, though Iím freezing in my basement. I should have gone with the Solstice díhiver instead.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Pours clear yellow with a small white head that dissipates quickly. The aroma has straw and hay yet a bit of citrus and floral. A bit of tropical fruit. The taste has a mix of grassy hops and a drying bitterness.. But the lager flavors round this out. A killer pils.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Slightly Hazy Pale Yellow, Small Frothy White Head, Nice Light Rings of Lacing. Aroma Reminds Me of Passion Fruit. Taste about the same: Passion Fruit, Citrus, Light Malt, Light Bitter. Light Bodied but not watery, Crisp. Real Easy Drinker. Nice. Enjoyed It. Whoever says, it is an Ordinary Pilsener is Full of Sh*t. Recommended...

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours clear gold with white head, aroma is sweet pilsner malts. Fairly light body, sweet honey, lots of pilsner type malt flavor, little bit of roast corn. Surprisingly sweet, almost to much so. Little bit of citrus hops in there to. Decent pils

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Nearly clear gold pour with a 1 finger fluffy white head. Aroma of cereal, grassy hops, spicy hops, light floral hops, light breadiness and a sweet cooked fruit note that I canít really put my finger on. Flavor is loaded with cereal, toast, and crusty bread up front, a little oily booziness right after that, honey, lots of spicy hops, some grassy hops vegetal notes, and distant fruity floral hops. Light to medium body with a creamy to oily entry, oily to dry finish and light, but sharp carbonation. Decent Pilsener, but I canít really say that I enjoyed this too much, too heavy and oily, mixed with more booziness than it should have and some kinda weird vegetal notes. None of that is really that strong, but itís enough to separate it from a really good Pils.
