Pour on tap, clear golden orange pour with white head, aroma brought notes of bread, biscuit, yeast into a bit of grass, herbal notes into a bit of orange peel, slight grapefruit into a bit of lemon. Taste was a mix of herbal, grass, lemon, some orange into a bit of biscuit, bread, some yeast into a bit of grain, finishing bitter.

Very disappointed with this Three Floyds offering (5 months old so that may have something to do with it). Poured from a bomber: Nose is malty with a very modest hop character. Nice hazy amber color and very modest head. The malt overpowers the hops and makes for an extremely disappointing pale ale (especially by Three Floyds standards). Unpleasant lingering aftertaste, burnt malt?!? Where are the hops?? I am becoming more and more disappointed with the Three Floyds offerings for many reasons, too full of themselves perhaps??

Pour from a bomber. Copper colored pour, actually looks fantasticly hazy. Aroma is malty and hoppy. Taste is clean, a bit biscuity, and finshes with a light hop freshness despite being bottled in September.

On draught at The Crest during the New Years Eve Tap Takeover on 12/31/2014. The beer is a clear copper color with a medium thin off-white head that dissipates steadily to an outer ring. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, hops and malt. Medium body with flavors of grassy hops, citrus and biscuit malt. The finish is mildly bitter with an herbal hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

Bottle to glass. Pours a hazy light amber orange color with an off white head. Aroma is an old hop, amber character. Flavor is light fleshy fruits, old hops. Light to medium in body with a lingering old hop character. Tasty, but I’m guessing its not fresh.

A hop driven beer from Munster seldom disappoints. This bright open beer is no exception. Sharp and bitter, its profile leaves that typical Three Floyd’s bite without being too overwhelming. Grab a fresh bottle while you can.

Aroma / Appearance - An ivory head calms the semitransparent rosy golden body underneath. Gentle hops (by Three Floyd’s standards) nip the at the senses with a light floral profile. The prototypical American pale ale, it still retains a smooth presence.

Flavor / Palate - Warm hops immediately scour the palate clean. Mellowing iced tea tickles the tongue. Finally comes a dry oaky finish of pine cones and woodshop. Laid back in contrast to its bigger siblings, I find myself constantly topping off the glass until the final drop is gone. I have few doubts my next experiences with FFF will do the same.

Aroma is yeast, citrus, light pine and slightly spicy. The flavor is citrus, fruit, light tropical fruit, a hint of vanilla/butterscotch and a bitter/hop resin/mildly tart finish.
