3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
I didn’t have the info to add this to the database. Just getting around to adding the review. Had it a day or two after tapping. Not sure what "non-collaboratively" brewed means, but I heard that somewhere. [A] Seemingly signature hops. Herbal. The pale bready malts are what really stand out to me. [A] Imperial pint. Orange beer. With a gorgeous cap of foam. [F] Biscuity pale malt is the winner here. Citrusy hops balance nicely. Not complex. No Alpha King, either. But a VERY enjoyable pale. [P] This would make a great session brew. Could have downed a bunch. Mouth was light & crisp. [O] This doesn’t even border "extreme" or "not normal". Just a great, easy going beer from two great local brewers. I think. Kind of disappointing that 3F brewed @ Half Acre for a collabo that wasn’t released at DLD. Even more disappointing THIS collabo wasn’t bottled at all. Hopefully it will be a repeat, like Ham On Rye.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draft at FFF. This beer prances out with a beautiful head, looking all delicious and stuff. The orange amber brew has a subdued hoppy nose. This drinks exceptionally smooth, with an easy going character. This beer could be had by the gallon and would go well with just about anything on the menu here. (#3894, 5/7/2010)

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Taste’s very, very similar to 3F’s ’Pride and Joy’... Same amber color, mild citric hop aroma, malty toasty flavor balanced by a fair amount of citric hops. Not bad stuff at all, just tastes a lot like Pride and Joy.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at Piece. Clear gold pour with a medium off-white head. Citrusy hop nose (orange, to be specific) with some grapefruit and sweet malt in there too. Flavor has some citrus as well, but leans more toward tropical fruit with a grainy and bready malt finish.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Hazy golden pour with fluffy white head. Pretty substantial citrus nose. Crystal malt caramel and toffee, along with some faint grassy notes, and a very respectable ctrusy hop zest. Very well balanced, sessionable, refreshing, and satisfying.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at the brewpub.
Pours a partly cloudy medium gold with a puffy white head that leaves clods of lace around the glass. Aroma is mostly piney hops and slightly caramel-y malt. Flavor is a judicious dose of bitter, piney and floral hops with nice malt balance. A little bit spicy on the back of the tongue. Very well balanced. Medium, tingly palate. This is a very nice, modest, yet tasty pale ale that is both flavorful and drinkable.
