22 oz. bomber at Binny’s in Elmwood Park. Pours looking like peach nectar with a fluffy white head. Nose is consistent with a fruity aroma mixed with hops. Flavor is the same. Very much a Three Floyds style of beer - which I would say is a good thing. Smooth and delicious. Note: I tasted this before I knew what it was, and would never have guessed it’s classified as a Barley Wine.

Sample @ Winterfest: Poured a dirty bronze...nose had hints of tropical fruit, pine, light citrus and a bit of malt to back it up. Flavor was pretty much dead on with the nose and had the typical FFF’s hop finish. Decent.

Bottle at Coles
Appearance: Clear amber, mid creamy top. Average appearance.
Nose: Clean , smooth alcoholic nose , grainy with sweet hints. 7+
Flavor/Palate : Fairly crisp with softness found in its body. Alcohol present but well blended. Refreshing hop feel. Good beer that gets even better as warms up. You will be asking for more.

Bottle from Sam’s, shared @ Rare Beer Fest. Golden, white head. Nose is candi hops, slightly vegetal, nice light maltiness. Flavor is 3F hops - candi sugar, grassy yum. A bit of medium maltiness. Awesome long cotton candy/malt finish. Really drinkable for 10.4%

Pours a reddish orange copper color with a small white soapy head. Nose is apricots, citrus, pine, oatmeal cookies made with heavy amounts of brown sugar. Mouthfeel is syrupy yet lively. Taste is similar to the nose and there are notes of additional bitter citrus and carbonation on the finish. Tasty.
