Last pour at GTMW. Orange-brown, some haze. Soapy, steady head. FFF mega clean tropical hop aroma. A hoppy beast. Sticky finish, pretty big beer. A tad brutal for 2pm, but probably delightful to sip on late night. Awesome, but not as much depth as some of FFF’s offerings.

Sampled at the StL RB gathering. It poured a hazy golden color with a thick white head. The aroma was of oats, oranges and some hop bitters with spices. The taste was bitter, sweet fruits spices, grass and some alcohol.

22 oz. bottle shared by beernbourbon- thanks again, Vince! Pours a semi-cloudy amber with almost no head. Aroma of caramel malts, brown sugar, tea, cereal, dusty wooden shelves, and some citrus in the background. Flavor of caramel, tea, brown sugar, syrup, and grapefruit citrus. Medium-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a sweet, sticky mouthfeel. Good but not great, maybe because my palate was exhausted by the point I tried it. I have another one to try again sometime.

Tasted from cool-looking tall bottle at 2nd STL Ratebeer Gathering, thanks beernbourbon! Poured a mostly clear, deep reddish amber color with firm white foam and plenty of nice lace (which makes sense because adding oats to any recipe increases the protein for better head-retention and fuller mouthfeel.) A great-looking beer. Aromas of malt, caramel, citrus, flowery and slightly spicy hops, perfumey alcohol. Rich amber malt sweetness, bready and toasty, some grapefruit zest bitterness, perhaps a bit too much residual sugar. An interesting barleywine profile, but with oats as the main cereal grain. Medium body, high carbonation, "chewy" palate, lingering bittersweet aftertaste. Very tasty and memorable.

22oz bottle. Pours a bright amber color with a white head and some lacing. Aroma is sweet, fruity, a little hoppy, but older hops, like an aged IPA. A little heavy on the palate with smooth carbonation. Flavor is sweet, malty, fruity, a little citrus, bread, with a sweet, malty finish. Tasty now, but I suspect it was better fresh.

Sampled at STL RB Gathering - Pours hazy orange/amber with an off-white head. The aroma has toffee, breadiness and rich maltiness. Medium / full body with light carbonation. The flavor starts with the aroma traits along with plenty of alcohol presence and cotton candy. the finish is hot and shows some oxidation. Okay, but expected more with who was involved.
