GABF 2008. Black and oily pour. Liquid velvet bursting with rich roast, milk chocolate, with a creamy lactic sweetness in the finish. Outstanding.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Poured from bomber...straight black with little ring of a head. Aroma is somewhat subdued, but is inviting...milk chocolate, a hint of sweet coffee, and sweet malts. Flavor is heavy on the milk chocolate, a good dose of lightly roasted coffee, and a heavy lactic presence...very good and extremely easy to drink. More roasted flavors come out in the finish, but it is a very smooth end. Good offering from FFF.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from StFun, thanks dude! Poured a deep brown color with a thin beige head that quickly faded to a ring. Aroma of dark chocolate, light coffee, lacto, and some oat. Smooth, lightly sweet entry leads into some chocolate malt and a bit of smooth oat with a moderate lacto/milk character. Finishes lightly hoppy. Low carbonation, smooth but a bit thin on the palate. This was very easy drinking, it just seemed a bit boring, and at the price, it isn’t a logical daily drinker. Thanks Josh.

Bottle thanks to GMCC2181. Thanks! Poured black in color with not much head. Aroma was sweet, roasted malts, with a little but of sour milk smell? Taste was chocolate, a little bit of milk and malt. Finished ok, but not very impressed overall.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from, StFun. A little dissapointed in this beer. I just had a sweet "milk" stout from Iron Hill and this wasnt half as good as that... It was dark in color, not much head. Aroma of some sweetness. Taste was like a typical stout. A small amount of chocolate, hint of milk, roasted malt. Texture was average and to be honest the beer was below average for its catagory. I wouldnt consider this a sweet stout. Thanks josh for the beer!

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Dark colored black beer with a small tan head. Nose of chocolate, roast, sugar and mocha, complex. As with almost all 3 Floyds beers, they nailed it. Was expecting a hoppy, out of balance beer, but it’s a complex, well balanced beer with lots of malt depth. Creamy, with dessert-like malts. Very nice ale.

22oz bottle from Travisd13. Pours dark brown with a thin light brown head. Smells mellow and sweet malty and milky. Tastes mellow roasty malty and sweet, some ripe dark fruits in there as well. Medium body, ok carbonation.
