Great pour. Lots of chocolate in the nose. I get the milk stout very strongly. Sweet lingering chocolate milk. Almost a cream taste. Very nice beer. Really good after dinner, it’s cold out, we’re hanging out

Dark, sweet, hot and then clean. Leaves your palate as if there was nothing there. Aroma is nice roastiness. First flavor is kind of sour, but quickly changes to smoky sweet. Strange strange beer. definitely has a chocolate liquer flavor to it.

Crushed with Jakebra. Very nice. Sweet nose, chocolate and some coffee. More in the flavor. Pretty creamy mouthfeel. I’d take Rogue Chocolate Stout over this any day, but it’s pretty damn good.

22 oz bottle It’s been a while since I’ve tried any Three Floyds beers since they are hard to come by here in Ohio. While on a trip to Kentucky I managed to locate this and don’t regret it at all. This is one of the best sweet stouts that I have tried and if it were available locally might go into my regular rotation. Aroma / Appearance - The deep sandy head decorated a black body along with beautiful strands of creamy lacing. Hazel, black coffee, skim milk, vanilla, and a mellow hoppiness formed almost a perfect blend. Flavor / Palate - Creamy caramel, black coffee, and plum hit the tongue on the first sip. Next comes a taste that reminds me of Starbucks’ sea salt and caramel hot chocolate. The milk stands out most in the transition; by the finish it is a shadow on the throat. I wish I had another bottle - hopefully this is a regular release in the future.

Bottle from lone hill. Black with a creamy head. Milk chocolate and sugar taste with a smooth texture.

Pours a thick opaque black colour with a mahogany tint near the bottom. The head is big, tan with notes of milk, chocolate, toffee and cinnamon. Not a whole lot of carbonation, but pleasent rich flavors and nuances all throughout this brew.

Bottle shared generously by BrianK. Pours a black abyss with a creamy white head. Lactose, minerals and calcium, light milk chocolate, vanilla, and a slightly off flavor of sour fruit or rust. Best served cold.

Fresh bomber. Pours an extremely dark chocolate to mahogany brown color. A small but dense, mocha colored head settles slowly to a thin film with a prominent edge. Soapy, spotty lacing marks the glass. Aromas include dark cocoa, vanilla beans, scorched caramel, and heaps of creamy lactose. This might be the most lactic stout I’ve ever encountered. Flavors follow suit, smooth and chocolaty, with a big vanilla influence and a strong hint of evaporated milk. The mouthfeel is substantial and smooth, almost creamy, round up front and finishing slightly dry and yeasty. Overall, this is a damn good beer. It might very well be the best milk stout I’ve ever had.

650mL bottle, courtesy of RiversideAK. Thanks, Alex! Pours a dense, dark chocolate-brown color; medium-tan head with fine-bubbled lacing. Solid amounts of roasted malts, milk and dark chocolate, and creamy milky cocoa notes in the aroma; nice cocoa and dry toastiness. Medium mouthfeel: creamy, relaxed carbonation; lightly acidity dark and milk chocolate, roasted malts, and very light smoked meats at the core of things. Really nice beer. Lengthy finish: toasty malts, cocoa, and milk chocolate, with that presence of roasted meats still lingering.
