Black pour with a dark tan head. Aromas of sweet milk chocolate, coffee, and some roasty malt notes. Flavor is sweet chocolate upfront with some brown sugar and coffee coming through in the finish. Very tasty.

Bomber. Pours a deep brown to black with darker tan head. Aroma is combo of roast malt and burnt coffee. Taste is molasses, chocolate, roast malt, toffee and slight burnt milk sugar. A fairly complex milk stout here. Roastiness increased as it warmed. Nice!

December 31, 2013 - bottle from some place a long time ago, finally cracking it open. Black pour with some head that faded somewhat quickly. Aroma was roasted malt, chocolate and lactose. Taste was consistent with aroma, smooth and creamy, and a slight dry alcohol finish.

Poured from a 22 ounce bottle into a nonic pint glass. Appearance: Pours a coffee black with a huge and creamy 3 finger dark tan head which slowly dissipates into a 1/4 finger layer on top of the beer. Excellent lacing. Smell: Classic milk stout nose featuring lactose sugar, roasted malt and semisweet chocolate. The nose is a little weaker than I would have liked. Taste: Medium roasted malt and milk chocolate up front followed by a touch of coffee and molasses in the middle before ending with dark chocolate and a hint of bitter hops. Aftertaste is semisweet chocolate with a touch of lactose sugar. Mouthfeel: Medium-to-full-bodied with a nice amount of carbonation. Drinkability: High drinkability. No need to consider sharing a bomber unless you’re feeling generous. Overall: A very good milk stout overall. Give it a try if you get the chance.

Bomber. Pours a dark thick brown black color with a small java head. Nose is sweet chocolate. Taste is creamy mocha chocolate, smooth and velvety. Finish is sweet, creamy and ends like a chocolate shake. Another winner from the 3Fs. Quaff Score 8 / 10

Pours black with a brown head and a sweet, roasty chocolate aroma. Taste is creamy and smooth, lots of sweet chocolate, roasted malt, smokey wood, and roasrpty coffee with a creamy finish. Delicious sweet stout

Bottle date: unknown. A: Dark brown ale with low translucency. A whim of a head forms and falls to a weak central cap of mocha colored foam. No lacing. Should have a little head and some sticky lacing. S: lactos, resiny hops, slight sweetness (very hidden). Stone fruit. T: Bitter, resiny hops. Not much going on here. Not sweet at all, metallic hints. Burnt. Maybe even a little sour. M: Full bodied with medium to lo carb. Faintly dry finish, hits the head here. O: Not impressive whatsoever. Not a drain pour, but not worth having twice. Serving type: bottle 05-23-2011 1

Bottle, thanks to DrFabulous. Pours deep dark brown with nice mocha head. Aroma is chocolate milk - so much milkiness here. Palate: this is smooth, creamy, medium body with soft carbonation. Goes down so so smooth, but the body never really feels thin. Basically perfect texture for this beer. Taste: loads of sweet milk chocolate, just the slightest hint of roastiness, a bit of campfire, and very little bitterness. Overall: ode to joy.
